If you have any toys that your pup doesn’t play with anymore that you’re looking to donate we will collect and bring to KCHF! 🤍

🚨 SOS 🚨

Mieshu is here to announce that we are critically low on toys!

With Mieshu and all of her friends getting clean toys each day, we need quite a high number to keep a rotation going. We also try and switch out who gets what type of toy so no one is getting too bored - unfortunately, this means that some of our more extreme chewers have been working overtime and our stock is depleted!

We’re in search of ALL types of toys! We love Benebones, Kongs, and any stuffed toys that don’t have beads or plastic eyes. New or used, we’re not picky!

If you’re out and about soon and can snag a few for our friends, if you want to ship directly to the shelter, or even if you clean out the bottom of your dog’s toy bin and find that toy you bought three years ago that they absolutely refuse to play with no matter what you do, we’d love to hand them out to the dogs at KCHF.

Hi friends!

Effective 4/1/25 we will be requiring all dogs be up to date on their Leptospirosis ("Lepto") vaccine. This vaccine can either be given separately or with the Distemper combination vaccine. Please contact your vet if you have questions regarding your pup's vaccine status.

Other than our yards being a bit flooded, thankfully we faired well through last night’s storms! We have power and will be open normal hours 7am-6pm today.

About Us

Hi! Our names are Glenda and Alexandria (Alex) Inouye, and we are the mother-daughter duo behind Pawz & Play Dog Daycare and Boarding Services, LLC. We decided we wanted to open our own dog daycare in the Bradley- Bourbonnais area after Alex worked at a dog daycare in Savoy, IL for over two years. Alex saw first hand how bringing your dog to daycare on a regular basis can improve their behavior at home as well as in social settings. We offer different indoor and outdoor play areas to separate dogs by size and energy levels. There are three different daycare rates: up to 2 hours, 2-5 hours (half day), and 5+ hours (full day). We also offer monthly daycare packages!

Along with daycare we also offer dog boarding services. Our overnight dogs are out playing with the daycare dogs for most of the day, which sets us apart from most of the other local boarding facilities. At the end of the day the overnight dogs will be fed and put up in their rooms, not kennels. We have someone on site 24/7.

It has always been our dream to open our own business in the area, and we have finally made our dream a reality! Let us take care of your four legged family member and treat them like they are one of our own!
