For Christmas Eve, we are only open until 12pm, and we will be closed on Christmas day, to allow our staff to spend time with their families. If you have an emergency, please contact one of these facilities. Call before you head that way, so they can be prepared for your arrival, as staffing may be limited at some of these facilites.

Get ready for the Christmas dinner! As much as you may want to share your delicious dinner with your pets, remember that many things we eat aren't safe for your four-legged family members. Many things are toxic including garlic, onions, raisins, and more! Some foods may have higher calorie, fat, or sugar content than our pets are used to, causing stomach upset or even pancreatitis. Make sure those decorations are secure and out of reach from your furry friends! Pets can become tangled in garlands and light strings, stuck in the tree, and even eat some of those decorations causing severe issues! Also, keep those breakable ornaments out of reach. Pets can bump them off the low branches of the tree and they can shatter, causing potential wounds! Stay safe this Christmas!

With Christmas coming, a lot of people purchase or gift plants! They can be beautiful, but be careful! Many of these common Christmas plants can be toxic, including mistletoe, holly, and poinsettias. If you have these plants around the house, make sure you keep them out of reach from our favorite fuzzy, feathery, and scaly friends! We are in need of newspapers! We use them to line the kennels under the blankets for the fur babies while they stay with us. So if you happen to have a supply of them or would like to start saving them we would appreciate it! If you have some now you can swing by, park by one of the doors then call to let us know you are here with papers, we can come out and grab them from you!!

We are looking for any gently used blankets and towels you may be looking to donate. We love to have these for the fur babies to sleep on while they stay in the hospital with us and our supply is running low. If you have any that do not have holes or strings hanging from them our patients would greatly appreciate the donation!!
