Quick farm stand update!:
I started a new job as a paralegal, and quickly advanced to senior paralegal. This meanst case load will always be different depending on the needs of the firm.
I will still be baking and adding lots of products and summer veggies and fruit to the farm stand. However, I wont be able to commit to a regular schedule.
So please follow our page; and see your follow settings to see all of our posts, so you get updated as soon as we add new and fresh items to the farm stand!

FARM STAND UPDATE!
I took a little break after the holidays but will resume baking and stocking the farm stand again within the next 2 weeks! Be sure to watch this page for updates!

AND IN OTHER EXCITING NEWS!:

1.) A very good friend of mine has offered to share her 100+ year old starter with me so that I can join the sourdough craze. She shared some of her baked bread with me, and the sourdough flavor was extremely mild and my family loved it! So be ready for some sourdough bakes coming out soon!

2.) We planted garlic this fall for the first time ever! Four different varieties including elephant garlic, which produces huge cloves! We are excited to see how all of them turn out!

3.) I am working on offering all-natural colorants in many of my baked goods! There has been a lot of buzz in the cottage baker circles, about artificial colorants and flavors and how new laws might impact our businesses, and so to get a jump on things and to further healthify the farm stand I am going to be offering all-natural colorant options.

4.) We have found a lovely potato variety, that is touted as being so low on the glycemic index that even diabetics can eat it, and it is very high in anti-oxidants! Also known to have a delicious buttery flavor! We will be planting that potato in the garden this year so I am hoping for an excellent harvest!

Bread is out of the oven and will be in the farm stand shortly 🍞 🍞 🍞 This is a white yeast bread, with a lovely buttery flavor It can be frozen, and tastes best warm. You can eat right away or reheat in the microwave or oven for the best flavor/texture. My mom’s favorite treat, is a slice of my bread buttered with sugar and cinnamon and toasted under the broiler on the oven for a few minutes until crispy on top! I prefer just butter 😊
