Animal dump off is in full swing this spring….
🫣rant… sorry, not sorry 🫣

Please, please don’t dump your animals outside or “set them free.” Reptiles do not have the instincts to search out a human for help like a dog or a cat.
Most of them can not survive outside in our climates.
There is a multitude of places that will take in your animals all over Minnesota pretty much from border to border and everywhere in-between. Most places will not ask you questions so don’t feel like you need to be ashamed or embarrassed. It’s a better solution than leaving them for dead and we appreciate that much more than the alternative. There is no excuses.

Being this is a reptile page, most of these are reptile resources but as stated above, google can be a powerful thing.

Snakes, beardies, tortoises, savanah monitors, leopard geckos, a chameleon, a ferret, a bird, a hampster, boxes of kittens, dogs… all things that have been found outside in Minnesota roaming around in the past two months. Let’s do better people!
Ps… this also goes for fish, don’t dump them in the lake, but that’s a whole different subject.

Good evening our ectothermic loving friends, we would just like to take a second to thank everyone who took time out of their day to stop in and see the new shop on our Grand Re-Opening. We appreciate all of you so much, we’ve put in a lot, I mean a lot, of OT for this move. Hearing all the great things from everyone and the joy on your faces made all of it worth it.
