Hezekiah
Hezekiah is still needing a lot of Groceries. He has around 290 pounds to gain. As of Thanksgiving he has gained 45 pounds! If you would like to help us with his care donations would be such a blessing! Venmo and Paypal are how we can reach the funds the soonest to purchase grain and cubes.
Thankful for the help Trent Jensen does around here! We were able to finish building 2 new stalls and move several panels to continue to make things safer for rescue horses. We also put up a shelter for Joseph and Iris.
Huge thank you for your time and ability to read instructions LOL 😆😆😆
Join us for recovery night this Saturday
Update on Deborah after getting her teeth floated. She was already missing one tooth now this one is also out of the way.
Meat raffle tonight at the Brainerd Legion. Come for the delicious food and go home with tomorrow night's dinner.
Run like someone left the gate open.....of course I only put them back into their pen after being out in the field for the day.
Here's the difference between chopped alfalfa and alfalfa cubes. Video in the comments of how easily they eat the chopped alfalfa hay.
Eating dry alfalfa cubes gives the rescue horses not just the nutrition that they need but keeps them busy breaking up the cubes into bite size pieces. This helps them create Silvia which is so good for their gut health. They can't gulp mouths full of wet alfalfa as this a slower process.
Rabboni does this every night after the cubes are gone. Her belly is itchy when it's full LOL 😆😆
