Samaria and Hezekiah are enjoying the sunshine today without the heaviness of their winter blankets. We like to keep a close eye on body scores but when it's -20° it's not easy to pull blankets and put them on quickly.

Irony Hezekiah is named after King Hezekiah and his girlfriend is the queen of this farm.

Summit Animal Health keeps Samaria healthy and moving where her fate was a truck to Mexico. Blessed to help her on her journey!

We had so much fun bringing 2 of the minis to share joy with the kiddos on Saturday! No pictures due to the cold weather this past weekend!

Santa and Mrs. Claus would like to thank everyone who came to the kid’s Christmas Party on Saturday! And a special thanks to all the “elves” from the Garrison Commercial Club, the Garrison Bay Lake Lions, Garrison VFW Post 1816 and the Auxilliary, Iron Range Motorcycle Club, Gabriel’s Home, Garrison Fire Department, and other friends who put the party together. What a wonderful community collaboration!

When Lily first came to Gabriel’s Home in August of 2025 she was underweight and struggling to breathe. We prayed and had faith however we had no idea that she would be gaining this much weight let alone be breathing this amazing!

We had a check up on Thursday at Stillwater veterinary clinic. Dr Zach Loppnow and Abby Simon were impressed as we took her blanket off that in just three short weeks ago she was there for surgery and now looks and sounds phenomenal. Her ultrasound of her lungs were like looking at a different horse.

The depths of our sincere appreciation for their work on her in undescribable. But our deepest appreciation goes to everyone who has helped this mare financially. We might not be able to change the world but because of you we changed the world for her.

A horse shouldn't have to choose between eating and breathing and now she can do both!

Dr Zach Loppnow initially thought we would have to use the nebulizer on her twice a day but now feels a maintenance weekly will be sufficient for her long term care.

After 10 minutes of picking through the fine leaves of the alfalfa this is what happens when Samaria eats it. She would starve to death standing in the most beautiful alfalfa. This is why the alfalfa cubes are so important to her success.

Ruth may be the softest rabbit I have ever felt! We've had Vietnam veterans come pet her and absolutely melt.
