In preparation for Naamen s upcoming chiropractic appointment tomorrow he's getting a little extra physical therapy in. We believe he slipped in the mud and irritated his shoulder that has caused him issues since spring time.

Please continue to pray for his full recovery.

Donations are always appreciated for the rescue horses. Nutrition is only part of the care we give them.

Summit Animal Health helps sponsor several of the rescue horses. This is beyond words amazing.

3 of the horses are on Remission for their laminitis.

4 horses receive medication daily for their arthritis.

We schedule our farrier every 2-3 weeks for trimming and shoes on 3 of the horses.

We give God all of the glory as he continues to heal and comfort the horses

Whenever I see a mini bus pull up the driveway from Port my heart begins to pound as I never know how many boys are going to show up. There were several familiar faces and a few new ones.

I asked what do you guys want to do today? I got a variety of answers including, I don't really want to be here today. (From one of the boys who has been here a few times) I gave him a hug and said yes you do and we both laughed.

They helped with moving the panels back to the pile from the obstacle course. Let's see how strong we can be LoL. I showed them the progress of the fence line they helped me with a while back. I think they were impressed, as they asked several questions.

I pulled Elihu out so they could brush him. They were awesome about helping each other with which brush to use first. A couple boys even braided his mane.

Some of the boys picked rocks in the driveway. Sat on the swing in the tree. A couple played with the dogs, which the dogs enjoy so much.

But one young man sat at the picnic table with a sketch pad and was doing a drawing of the round pen. It was so fun to see him enjoy his time out here.

They all jumped in to help unload the 20 bags of feed.

Coming out to Gabriel's Home isn't always about working with the horses but finding peace in the moments God gives us .

As colder temperatures approach, the girls from Freedom Ranch need warm boots. We will be storing the rubber boots until spring. If you would like to help obtain boots or have women's winter boots in good condition, the girls would greatly appreciate your support. They visit every Saturday to spend time with the horse they have bonded with.

Having a horse rescue comes with lots of expenses but one thing money can't buy is the little things we get to experience. Lisa Disrud Kinney was outside with the girls from PORT and all I saw was smiles. They were brushing Ms Lily as she is their go to horse. They were absolutely shocked at the amount of weight she has gained since the last time they had seen her without her blanket.

We have listened to God since we started Gabriel's Home and have never charged anyone to visit with the horses. Whether it's a Veteran who needs to have healing from PTSD, men and women who are in recovery from addiction, the kids from PORT or the girls from Freedom Ranch.

We firmly believe we all need to be shown God's love especially we have been through the hard things in life.

Update on Lily surgery fundraiser! We have $900 left to raise out of the $3,400!

If God has put it on your heart to help Lily get her surgery below are the ways to donate!

💗Lily needs a Tie-back surgery, or laryngoplasty, it is a procedure for horses with a paralyzed arytenoid cartilage that obstructs the airway, causing a roaring sound and exercise intolerance. Makes it difficult for her to breathe correctly.

🐴 Donating through facebook is amazing however facebook doesn’t get us the funds for 45 days.
