Mosefund Farm is a graciously appointed equestrian facility in Northwest New Jersey, offering full board and high quality riding instruction. 80 X 200 indoor; 90 X 180 outdoor; Multiple pastures with run-in sheds; multiple stalls, tack room, etc.

Horses are living, breathing animals, they are not machines. So while we do our best to take weather predictions into account when scheduling lessons, we must ask you to please be understanding if we have to modify the lesson plan or reschedule when it gets very hot or humid. Horses, especially older ones, are very susceptible to heat stroke. Our first priority is the safety of both our horses and students.

Scheduling your lesson early or late in the day can help minimize disappointments. But keep in mind, some days the heat does not cooperate no matter what time it is

Mosefund folks, tons of cherries on cherry trees. Please come and pick them before birds get them all. Probably will not last beyond this weekend. This is a first year I actually tasted the cherries. It is delicious.

A wonderful successful day at the Sussex County Benefit Horse Show yesterday. Congrats to Michelle Enman champion in Beginner Rider (sorry no photo). Ryleigh Dayon reserve champion Mini Stirrup Equitation. Lettie Teague champion in Outreach Pleasure division and reserve champion Beginner Hunter division. Kelly McLennan Aroesty reserve champion Outreach Pleasure division. Special thanks to Becca Bender for her stellar riding over fences.
