We use a Registered South Poll bull as the herd sire on commercial Black Angus cross cows in our breeding program. South Poll is a composite breed comprised of Hereford, Red Angus, Barzona, and Senepol. This cross was carefully studied and selected by founder, Teddy Gentry, to "form a more heat tolerant animal that had a gentle disposition and tender carcass qualities". I must add a huge benefit h
