These cute faces turned a year old today! Happy birthday sweet ones!

The pups turned 3 months old last week! We were able to have red girl (Allie Rose) with us over Christmas while her family traveled. She was excited to open her gift and gave Georgia a little warning that she did not want to share! I think they’re so cute! Not pictured are Dark Pink and Light Pink girls (Dovie and Navy).

Our last puppy got to go home today. It was a fun couple of months, but Georgia and I are both ready for a good nap!

It’s home going week! They turned 7 weeks on Thursday and will start going home soon! All puppies have been reserved. It’s been a wonderful, cute, chaotic, messy, fun time with these 7 babies! I hope we have prepared them to be the very best companions to the wonderful people who have chosen them. I’m going to miss their fluffy, squishy selves.

The puppies had a great checkup today with Dr. T! Everyone weighed between 8 and 10lbs and they were all well behaved. She and the tech commented on how calm they all were. She had to interrupt naps to do their exams. Thank you to my mom Lynn Johnson Gibbs for helping wrangle the crew!

Our puppies are 5 weeks old! A few of them have met their families and are reserved. We have 4 females available!

There’s tired and then there’s ‘I have 7 babies to feed tired’. I think poor G is over it! The puppies are 5 weeks old and have transitioned to kibble very well! But they love when mama stops to let them nurse for a minute! She has resorted to standing since they’re so big now.

The puppies are 3 weeks old! I’m a few days late with pictures. They’re starting to wean and enjoy exploring outside of the box a little. I think they’ve all figured out the step from the sunroom to the living room. Georgia keeps bringing them her balls to the box. I think she’s trying to teach them what’s important! They’re all finding their voice and growling, barking some. And learning to play with each other. I think they just keep getting cuter!

2 weeks old today! It is so hard to get pictures of these babies on the move! They each have their own look and I think they’re all adorable. Dark Pink Girl is our teeniest and has been from the start. She seems fairly laid back so far. Light Pink was our biggest and most vocal, but red has taken the lead in size and possibly in opinions. They’re all finding their voices and practicing little growls here and there.

I just saw a hint of this little lady’s eyes. I am done for! Little red is one of our two lighter girls and she seems to have a blockier head shape, though it’s a bit early to tell. I think she is going to be a beauty!

Meet the parents!

Sonny’s Going For a Swim in Georgia is our beautiful two year old active girl. Georgia lives to swim and retrieve. We cannot keep her out of the pool in the summer and we have to keep a steady stream of balls, frisbees, or sticks to throw for her. She is a gentle watch dog for our backyard chickens and enjoys rounding them up. I’m sure if we entered her in some competitions she would win for her speed, agility, and athleticism. She is not super cuddly but is a sweetheart who enjoys being with her people. She is smart and eager to please! She knows several commands and tricks and learns new ones quickly.

BBG’s Terrific Torch McPoufy is the handsome sire owned by Yvonne Beck-Mueller. Yvonne travelled to Washington State to bring him home to Mississippi because she knew the quality blood lines he would carry. He is a cuddle-bug and his gentle demeanor and loving temperament have earned him a job along side his owner in a nursing home. He spends his work days loving on the the residents and surely bringing smiles to lots of faces. Torch holds a Certificate of Conformation Assessment with AKC. He was judged by an AKC conformation judge to have solid conformation; no disqualifying faults, and he was complimented for having great paws, good top line, and good personality. He has OFA clearance for hips and elbows, and has heart and eye health clearance as well. He may as well be a certified good boy! I was immediately drawn to him because he reminds me so much of Sonny who we lost in 2022.
