Provide scratching posts in various locations throughout the house and use pheromone sprays to calm your cat. Trim your cat’s nails regularly too! With the busy pace of life, our dogs can't always be with us. We often have to leave them at home and return to them later. As a result, some pets may develop separation anxiety. Fortunately, there are effective ways to help them overcome this. You can train them to understand that you'll be back soon and that there's no need to worry. Techniques like counter-conditioning, gradual desensitization, increasing physical stimulation, and creating a safe space can help. If you need more guidance, please call us at 813-654-6222.

It's, in fact, TRUE! Even though your pet looks healthy, getting routine blood work during their wellness exams is always recommended. There may be underlying conditions that aren't detectable by the naked eye. Detecting potential problems is one of the essential reasons dogs need blood work, especially for seniors, to monitor their organ health and age-related conditions. Have you scheduled your pet's routine wellness exam? Contact us at 813-654-6222.
