🐾 Eggbert’s Big Adventure! 🐾

Sweet Eggbert, a 4-year-old DSH, has had a tough few weeks with recurring vomiting and not feeling like himself. After revisiting our Internal Medicine team, imaging showed he needed some extra special care — including surgical biopsies and a stent placed in his common bile duct. Eggbert handled surgery like a superstar! 🌟 💛

Today, Eggbert is doing FANTASTIC!
His family reports he’s back to being the sweet, snuggly, silly boy they adore. We are SO proud of this brave little guy and grateful for the love and dedication of his family.💕

Join us in sending Eggbert all the healing vibes as he continues to recover at home!

🐾 Brooks’ Big Recovery in Brandon! 🐾

Brooks recently had a scary encounter with an unknown toxin, causing a severe reaction including high blood sugar and elevated sodium levels. Our Brandon ECC team worked quickly to stabilize him and provide the care he needed.

While in the hospital, Brooks had a very special comfort pig 🐷 to snuggle with—a gift from a previous patient’s family. It helped him feel safe and cozy during treatment.

We’re thrilled to say Brooks is back to his happy self and went home with the piggy to love forever. ❤️

Recovery isn’t just about medicine—it’s about comfort, love, and a few snuggles too!
Because at Fetch were known for our expertise, but chosen for our care.

🐶 When Heroic Intentions… Take a Tiny Turn 🐭✨

Meet Daisy Mae, our brave (and slightly overconfident) little golden retriever puppy who was certain she had uncovered a major rodent invasion. 👀💥
Her mission? Protect the house from what she believed was a sneaky intruder.
The culprit? …A toy mouse. A plush, 100% not-alive toy mouse.

But in the name of home security, Daisy Mae went all in — and let’s just say the “mouse” put up a bigger fight than expected. It wound up stuck in her small intestine and required surgical intervention to remove. 😅🩺

Thanks to the skillful hands of Dr. Ivy Arnold, the stubborn “intruder” was successfully retrieved. Daisy Mae is now recovering in our ICU with plenty of monitoring, comfort, and care as she heals from her brave but slightly misguided mission. 🐾💛
Let’s just hope her next creature is a little more digestible.

Rest up, sweet Daisy Mae — your heroic spirit is unmatched. 😉

In the veterinary world, our days are filled with love, dedication, and purpose — but they can also be incredibly heavy. There are moments when we face back-to-back difficult cases, where even our best efforts can’t overcome the progression of illness or disease. And there are days when we stand beside families as they say their heartfelt goodbyes, carrying their grief right alongside them. 😢❤️

It’s a privilege to be here for pets and the people who love them, but the emotional weight is real. It can wear you down if you let it.

And then… something small and unexpected happens that reminds us why we do what we do.

This week, our Brandon ECC team received an anonymous delivery of Crumbl cookies 🍪 — a gesture that may have seemed small, but made a world of difference. It offered support, recognition, and a much-needed moment of sweetness on a very hard day. It put smiles on tired faces and reminded us that even when we don’t always see the impact we make, it matters.

To whoever sent this thoughtful surprise — we may not know your name, but we felt your kindness deeply. Thank you. Your gesture meant more than you know. 💛🐾

✨ Where the Vet’s Go to Get Expert Care ✨

When even our own veterinary specialists trust their colleagues with the care of their beloved pets — you know you’re in the right place. 💜

Meet Elsa, a true warrior who just graduated after completing both radiation therapy and chemotherapy for metastatic AGASACA.

Her journey is a testament to the power of teamwork, expertise, and unwavering compassion. When Elsa was first diagnosed last November, it took a village — and our Fetch family showed up.

From Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery guiding her initial diagnosis… to Radiation Therapy with Dr. Merkle stepping in when her cancer spread… and finally to Dr. Muldowney and our Medical Oncology team leading her chemotherapy — every department played a part in Elsa’s success story.

And the most meaningful part?
Elsa’s mom is our very own oncology specialist, Dr. Costa, who trusted her team here at Fetch to provide the same gold-standard care she gives her own patients. 💜

This is what collaboration in specialty medicine looks like.
This is what dedication to pets and families feels like.
This is Fetch.

Help us celebrate Elsa’s big milestone — and the incredible team who helped her get here! 🎓🐾💜

🐾 Is Cat Constipation an Emergency?

Constipation in cats is common, but it can become serious if ignored. Signs to watch for include straining in the litter box, small or hard stools, going several days without a bowel movement, vomiting, lethargy, or obvious discomfort.

When to act: If your cat hasn’t pooped in 2–3 days, or shows vomiting, severe pain, or lethargy, it could indicate a blockage or other serious health issue. Bring them to Fetch Emergency Pet Care in Brandon immediately.

🎓✨ Celebrating Allison! ✨🎓

We are thrilled to cheer on our latest chemotherapy graduate, Allison, who completed treatment for her mast cell tumor with our Brandon Oncology team. She faced every step with incredible courage, and we could not be more proud of her. 💛🐾

Mast cell tumors can often begin as a tiny bump that seems harmless. These small changes on your pet’s skin can be easy to miss, which is why regular check-ups and keeping an eye on new or changing lumps is so important. Early detection gives pets like Allison the best chance at a strong recovery.

If you ever notice something new on your pet or have concerns, our team is here to support you from diagnosis through treatment.

Congratulations, Allison. Wishing you all the happy and healthy days ahead!
