☀️ Summer is in FULL SWING here in Mississippi — and so are the heat advisories! 🔥🐾
Let’s keep our furbabies safe in this Southern heat with these simple summer tips:

🌳 Provide plenty of shade
🚶‍♂️ Limit exercise during peak heat
💧 Keep water readily available
🐾 Avoid hot pavement — walk early or late!

Update: Jasmine has left for foster-to-adopt. Fingers crossed it's a good fit!

Update: we will do our best to find the man missing a black dog from the Waldrop Rd area in Mannboro. If anyone knows someone in that area who fits this description, please direct them to us!

Jasmine is getting more and more depressed everyday that she's here, and it's breaking our hearts. She was picked up on 153 close to the Nottoway line late last week. Please share her far and wide, because we have a message for her owner:
Please come get this sweetheart ASAP, because the shelter environment is wearing on her gentle soul. If you had to leave her, for whatever reason, please contact us to surrender her. You will receive no judgment from us, especially since she was obviously much-loved. She has 5 days left of her stray hold, but she may have the opportunity to go to a rescue sooner.
Let's get her out of here ASAP before she stops her sweet kisses and slow tail wags
