Good afternoon Fur-ever Family! As you all know we closed the business one year ago. Time has gone by so quickly. We left our page open just in case we needed to reach back to everyone.

Good afternoon Fur-ever family!

Ok so as you all know we are wrapping up our services, most specifically pharmacy.

If you placed an online order with refills, specifically for heartworm and flea preventative, and you would like to make sure you get your full year of product from us please Call Vetsource at 877-738-8883 and ask to order your remaining refill. Please do this before December 25th. All orders will no longer be available for refills on January 1st.

I wish I could keep the online pharmacy open longer but that puts us into another tax year and creates more challenges for me.

Thank you once again for all of your love and support

Blessings from your Fur-Ever family

Good day Fur-Ever family! We are coming to the end of our journey together and will soon be closing all services.

I decided to give everyone one extra month to collect records. Consider it a Fur-Ever Christmas gift, as it costs us $100/ month to keep records open.

As of January 1st, 2022 both the online pharmacy and Evet records for your pets visits will be closed.

Please make sure you can log in thru your pet portal at evetpractice.com for your records and save or print them for future needs.

Please place all online pharmacy orders by no later than December 21st. You can place order at:
https://fureverpetwellnesspetcare.securevetsource.com/site/view/site/view/HomeDelivery

Thank you for all your love and support over these last few years! We are eternally grateful for you being part of our family. We wish you all the best and please give all your fur kiddos the biggest hugs from us.

Blessings from your Fur-Ever family

Good afternoon Fur-ever family!

If you have had lab work done with us and are looking to access a copy, please remember that we emailed you a copy around your appointment.

If you are trying to access it thru EVET pet owner portal please know the server has some bugs they are working thru due to the recent update performed. I have contacted them and we are on "the list" to be helped. Not sure when unfortunately.

I will be on the phone with a manager hopefully by the end of today because I'm beyond frustrated and I know it's making things more challenging for you all as well.

Good afternoon Fur-ever Family!!!! This is Dr.Mckinley. It has been a while since we last posted.

A couple of things to know:
1. I am loving living in Colorado with my family
2. Our record portal updated and inactivated your ability to log in. I am working on that right now. Please let me know if you are having difficulties. I am helping everyone as quickly as possible.

3. I will be closing down our record keeping portal by November 2021. I will do a post 2 weeks before closing just as a reminder.
4. I am still helping with online pharmacy needs and will do so until at least January 2022.

I miss you all so much and hope the transition hasn't been very challenging. Give all your fur family and human family hugs for me.

Blessings from your Fur-Ever family

So I typed to much for first post but here's the rest. A big thank you to my Colorado family ( especially my dad) for helping us unload here and get my belongings in the right places. Most were unfortunately damaged in the move due to a quick, unexpected packing and likely my novice Uhual driving skills. On the 4th I woke up with cat hair stuck in my eye (bc stressed cats shed like crazy) which then left me with a swollen eye and conjunctivitis all day. Hence in the picture with my mom ( the only picture we took from this hell trip lol) I look extra tired. I think it encompasses all the feelings though and I promise even without pictures this trip will be burned into my memory for forever.

Now on to business. I will be getting back on top of everything this week. Expect emails and if you need medications I will be helping guide and approve orders. I promise I didn't want to not help over the last 2 weeks but I couldn't split myself anymore because of the move. I tried my best, even having some medications that I still had in stock picked up from my house the night before we packed the Uhual. I appreciate everyone's patience and know it has been stressful for you all as well. I am still here and will make the best efforts to get to everyone as quickly as possible. I finally feel like a human being again today and not a robot so here's to moving forward.

Blessings from your Fur-Ever family

Good morning Fur-Ever Family! This is Dr. Mckinley.
So sorry I haven't been responding over the last 1.5-2 weeks. As you all know we had to close the business down due to my moving to Colorado at the end of June. In addition to the move I finished my 2nd Covid vaccine on June 24th just days before moving which left me with a 3 day migraine. The move itself was enough stress but was compounded by scam movers. We hired thru a broker and they over doubled estimate from 4K to 8.8K the day before move and went from telling me my belongings would be moved in 4 days on one truck to 14 days with high likelihood of loss of my belongings due to use of multiple vehicles and a warehouse. Which left me having to scramble 24 hrs before the move to find a Uhual and helpers to pack said Uhual. I want to say a huge thank you to the Fur-ever family members, teammates, family and friends that stepped up to help make things easier by showing up last minute and spend hours helping me pack in the rain. The drive itself was on par with that stress level being 1900 miles of my driving ( for the first time EVER) a 26 ft Uhual thru Florida (rained all the way thru) to Georgia to Tennessee ( scary mountains) to Kentucky to Illinois to Missouri to Kansas (yall Florida has got NOTHING on the storms that happen in Kansas) to Colorado. I almost hydroplaned in Kansas and had a over 7 ft water wave come up from the road blinding me from seeing the person in front of me who was thankfully Ms. Nicole a Fur-Ever teammate that made the drive with us and swerved over to help make space for me as she was practically hydroplaning too. The drive took us 3 days, a little over 30 hours to complete. Did I mention we did this with all 8 of my fur kiddos which I slept in the rental car with each night we stopped bc hotels aren't about that many kiddos coming in. With more help we unloaded the Uhaul into storage and today is the first day in over 2 weeks I have gotten more than 5 hours of sleep in one night.

Good morning! It is now just Dr. Mckinley running the whole show while packing to move in 11 days, dealing with a sick kitty of her own ( who may have a tumor in her lungs), and a sick grandparent who keeps going in and out of ICU. She will get all your online pharmacy orders managed as soon as possible ( we started the week with 31 orders) and respond to all your messages as soon as possible. She has not forgot about anyone and promises she is working as quickly as she can to move everyone and everything forward.

Good evening Fur-Ever Family! Let's talk about medications.

We know you all are in as much shock as we are over the sudden closing. We want everyone to rest easy that we are not just closing our doors down and not going to provide any additional help.

For pharmacy needs we will keep our online pharmacy open for likely another year while everyone gets resituated. We will check it once weekly and help as quickly as we can. Below is a link to our pharmacy:

https://fureverpetwellnesspetcare.securevetsource.com/site/view/site/view/HomeDelivery.pml?retUrl=https://fureverwellnesspc.com/&cmsTitle=Fur-Ever%20Pet%20Wellness

We will also keep our primary business number open which is 813-933-2800 for at minimum the next 3 months. Please know Dr.Mckinley will be getting a new job in Colorado and be sole person responsible from July forward. Please be patient as she navigates thru these transitions.

We are here for all of you and working our hardest to help everyone! Thank you to everyone for their love, support and understanding.

06/07/2021

Good afternoon Fur-ever family! Ok. Life is spinning uncontrollably as we move forward. In addition to everything, Dr. Mckinley has a sick grandparent in the hospital, Ms. Renee is dealing with vehicle issues while trying to move to North Carolina mid month, Mr. Taylor put in his 2 week notice leaving us without a teammate for the end of the month. We are going to try to see as many scheduled appointments as we can from now until the 13th but likely won't be able to help nearly as many of you as we would love to or planned to. We are so very sorry and wish we could split Dr.Mckinley in 4 different ways right now to help all. Please know we love all of you and this has been devastatingly painful to go thru. We just want to keep full disclosure thru the process.

Good afternoon Fur-ever family! This post has been so hard to start as it breaks all of our hearts. Due to unforseen circumstances we will be closing Fur-Ever Wellness Pet Care! Dr. Mckinley will be moving to Colorado to be closer to her mom and family. The home she is renting has been put up for sell and she will have one month to move out. Due to high rent prices, buying a home is her best option and it seems that will need to be in Colorado. We are devastated and regret so much only having one month more with our Fur-Ever family! As we transition pleass be mindful of the following:

1. We will be still seeing ONLY EXISTING family members thru June at limited slots. We will be trying to help as many families as possible before we move. Please be patient with us.

2.Your records will be available on the pet portal on evetpractice.com. Dr. Mckinley will be spending most of July making sure everyone's records are updated and available. Please be patient.

3. We will post a seperate post for new vet recommendations

4. Dr. Mckinley tried to reach out to as many of you personally as possible. She apologizes that she can't take the time to personally message everyone. She loves you all so very much and her heart aches daily.

5. This was so unexpected for all of us. Including our teammates and Dr. Mckinley. This move and closing the business is very expensive. We typically do not ask for help but if you would like to donate to help ease some of these expenses and support our team our paypal is [email protected].

6. If you have moving boxes that too is appreciated and can be dropped off at Dr. Mckinley front door. Pm for address if not already known from pick ups.

Thank you all for these amazing years growing as a family together! We have been so blessed and will miss you all so very much!

Blessings from your Fur-Ever family

05/20/2021

Good morning Fur-Ever family! As we move forward with vaccinations and changes in mask wearing policies around us please understand that Fur-Ever Wellness Pet Care will be working to continue to protect our team, business and your families as best as possible.

1. You will still be required to wear a mask when around us. Unless you are an acceptable distance away ( greater than 6 ft). If needed you are welcome to leave your pet with us and go inside.

2. We will continue visits outside. Yes we know it is getting warmer out. If needed you are welcome to leave your pet with us and go inside.

3. We will not be making ANY exceptions to these rules, even if you are vaccinated

4. Most importantly- YOU WILL NOT DEGRADE, YELL OR NAME CALL at our team in regards to your personal feelings about Covid or masks. In fact due to an experience we had yesterday, if you chose to throw a tantrum and name call you will be FIRED ON THE SPOT AND YOUR RECORDS WILL BE EMAILED AT OUR CONVENIENCE.

Here's the facts folks. Most people bend the truth to match their agenda. We would like to take your word that you are vaccinated and healthy. However the bad will always ruin it for the good and people will lie about their health status to avoid wearing masks around us and to get us to visit even though their family is sick. We have already had this happen with families inviting us over even though within the last 2 weeks before visit their whole family had a bug. Flu along with Covid are still both very active right now.

Full disclosure- it costs us a minimum of $12,000 to help stay open monthly and be part of your fur kiddos healthcare. We can't afford to close down and we are a very small team without any expendible employees. We set these guidlines in place to ensure we comtinue providing quality care for your family. Unless you personally plan to donate 12K monthly and want to suit up to work in the field to run our business then you will need to follow our guidelines. No exceptions

Good morning Fur-Ever family!
A couple of things to chat about today

1. We are at our busy season (which with Covid never really ended however we are busier) so please understand and be patient as we try to help everyone
2. We are booked thru April in almost mid May. Please understand we will help as best we can
3. We are not nor will we ever be designed to be an emergency facility. If your kiddo develops an issue that needs immediate care we recommend Fetch, Urgent Care or one of our other sister clinics to help.
4. We are a very small team and Dr.Mckinley despite her best efforts works 7 days a week to help keep us all a family. We are giving our all.

Since the coronavirus pandemic began, pet owners have wondered what impact the virus might have on their animals. Although new information has been generated in recent months, all studies that have been conducted still reinforce that dogs and cats become infected by the coronavirus through direct contact with infected people. Tomorrow on Animal Airwaves-Live, Dr. Cynda Crawford, an immunology and infectious disease expert and director of the Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Program at UF, will discuss why vaccinated pet owners are much less likely to transmit infection to their pets, so vaccination not only protects them, but their pets, too. Don't miss it!
