Most people think good socialization is allowing their dog to meet every person and dog they see. However, the best socialization is allowing your dog to interact with people and dogs that you trust so you can ensure it's a good experience for them. It is also important to have moments of rewarding engagement with you and teaching them to be neutral around distractions. Doing so will build confidence and make training easier.

This gorgeous 11-month-old German Shepherd is joining us at Sit Means Sit Dog Training to work on her puppy manners and become the best version of herself! 🐶💪 Dixie’s here to tackle leash pulling, learn to keep all four paws on the ground (no jumping!), and master all the essentials every amazing pup needs.
