Chai. Can you be any more perfect?! This mare was destined to be a show horse. Second time off property, at her second horse show and she was a gem. Stall to ring, zero prep. No spook. No funny business. Amazing work ethic and just aims to please. Confirmed changes. Goes in a snaffle. And barefoot. Great in the barn. Loads and trailers like a dream. She is just stunning to look at on the ground and under saddle. Who’s looking for their partner?! 😍😍

Tis Tea Time aka ‘Chai’

Chai is a 2020, 16.1+h TB mare with the best in your pocket personality that only ‘chestnut mare dreams are made of’. Chai loves attention, loves to be doted on and belly scratches are the highlight of her day. Chai made her way to me in April 2024 and has packed on the pounds and has really started to shine undersaddle. She’s been very easy and straightforward to bring along - she’s willing, smart and proven to be quite athletic while remaining very ammie friendly. Chai is currently WTC and coursing small fences with changes. Chai attended her first horse show and was an absolute dream - zero prep, no funny business, she just went to work and answered all of the questions asked of her. She jumps a ‘10’ every time with not much peek to fences or fill. I could see this mare cleaning it up in the children’s/throughbred hunters with more miles. Her photos do not do her justice with how lovely she is. Currently barefoot. No vices. No unsoundnesses. Chai was slated to head to RRP 2024 but with life heading a different direction, I have opted to find her a new person. Located in Brandywine MD.

Smitty retired after making over 500k at the track. Smitty loves to work, have a job and is incredibly athletic. Smitty currently is WTC and popping over small fences. He is best suited for a very solid intermediate rider who has a soft hand and understands a leg to hand ride. Smitty is a fun ride although he can be quirky undersaddle - nothing dirty or mean however he does need help directing his energy forward and in a productive manner. Smitty does have a healed sesamoid fracture with a great prognosis. X-rays available for serious parties. Smitty had a home but rider life circumstances changed and he made his way back to me.

Smitty deserves a person of his own that wants to spoil him and bring out his potential. Seeking the right home which will offer him a long term situation.

Anoria aka Nora
2021, 16.1+ TB mare

Nora is a gem. Nora has all the pieces in the making to be the a super competitive mount in the jumper, eventing or dressage world. She is built extremely uphill with 3 comfortable and adjustable gaits. She has a fantastic jump with changes and is incredibly brave to the fences. Given her age, her education has been slow and steady with a solid flat foundation. She is a bit more whoa than go however she maintains her motor with minimal encouragement. She has been to two horse shows - she requires very minimal prep (a hack before ‘game time’) and is brave and willing to the fences. She’s easy to load, easy to stable and easy to handle off property. She is currently slated for RRP2024 but due to client needs pulling me into a different direction she is offered (reluctantly) for sale. No unsoundnesses. No vices - although she did stall walk at the track however we do not see that here. Nora is best suited for a solid intermediate rider working with a trainer.

Rumor is a 2018, 15.3+h barefoot TB gelding. Rumor has been with us for the better part of 2024 and has been a fun mount to bring along. Rumor currently WTC and is jumping around small fences. He’s a stout guy with great feet and an ‘in your pocket‘ personality. He’s been very easy to handle in the barn and truly aims to please. Rumor will do best with a rider that can help him continue his education and building his confidence. He has a big motor but is not a hot or forward ride. Once he figures out his body, he will have a lovely jump - he’s currently figuring out his balance and his hind end and how they work together. He’s not spooky but can ‘look’ at things however there is no dirty behavior undersaddle. He’s the same ride if ridden daily or has some time off. Great in the cross ties, wash stall, for the vet and the farrier. No vices. No unsoundnesses. He’s just generally an all around good dude.

Rumor is slated for RRP2024 however with my business pulling me in a bit of a different direction, he’s being offered for sale to the right home. Rumor will be headed to his first horse show mid-June. He is best suited for a confident intermediate working with a trainer.

Next up is Studly. Studly is a gorgeous and talented gelding for advanced ammy/trainer/pro - is going to be everything you want him to be and more, but has a few quirks. My barn set up in not conducive to the situation that Studly needs. He needs to learn to be a horse and unfortunately with client horses, I am limited to turnout situations for him. If you are seeking an athletic, fun mount - continue reading and reach out if interested.

Studly is a 2014, 16.2h TB gelding and he is looking for his new human! He is seeking a partner that can help continue his education and training and to keep him on the straight and narrow. Ideally a young pro or gritty ammie looking for a horse that is terrifically athletic and will jump the moon, he just needs someone to finish him out.

Studly was a stud up until early 2024. He spent the majority of his former life in the comfort of his stall - he had a lovely upbringing as his ground manners are perfection, he’s respectful around other horses and he’s generally a kind soul. Studly does however lack some life skills - he is learning how to be a horse - how to enjoy turnout, how to interact with friends, how to enjoy life outside of the stall, etc. He’s the equine replica of a ‘boy that lived in a bubble’.

Studly has been at our farm working on his secondary education for the last few months. He has made a lot of progress in his education and confidence. At this time, my facility is pulling me in another direction with clients and I do not have the time to devote to him to continue to develop him. He is happy to work on the lunge, he WTC under saddle, pops over fences and has started his changes. He’s a lovely ride that has all the makings to be a phenomenal partner for someone. He’s not spooky. He’s super adjustable. He goes in a snaffle. He has great manners. He’s currently barefoot. He does have a minor bow that has been rehabbed and has no limitations. He’s athletic. He's stunning (his photos don’t do him justice).

However…. he knows he’s athletic and he knows he’s pretty. He’s cocky and confident and he needs to continue his education with a rider who is willing to dedicate time and training to bring him to his full potential. He’s never dirty or mean undersaddle however he will attempt to push buttons to see what he can get away with - so a firm but guiding and educated hand/ride is best. He needs to enjoy what is being asked of him to perform at his best, so he will not do well with a forceful hand. He’s spoiled and has had an easy life in the comfort of his stall so ‘working for a living’ is a new concept for him.

If Studly sounds cool, feel free to reach out. He’s only available to the correct home and will remain in training until that home is found. He is priced low, low fours to move quickly. At this time, he will only be shown or be able to be tried undersaddle by qualified parties. I will require references to ensure the fit is suitable.

This guy has absolutely blown me away with his demeanor, willingness to please and his smarts. Less than a dozen rides post track and this baby has taken to everything like he’s an old pro. Percy field tripped to a horse show last weekend and was so well behaved. He flatted around the senior pleasure unbothered by the horses in the ring and he trotted his first ever 18” course without batting an eye. Percy has three LOVELY gaits and a very balanced way of going. More whoa than go. His brain is unbeatable - he’s an old soul, perfect first restart type. No vices. No unsoundness. Currently barefoot. His RF ankle does sport a small blemish which poses no limitations, X-rays are available. Percy is RRP eligible for 2024.

Persuade aka ‘Percy’
2021, 15.1 1/2h TB gelding.

Percy is a GEM, a unicorn in the making. This baby has just blown us away with his willingness to please and how quickly and correctly he answers the questions asked of him. Percy retired after 4 starts as he just wasn’t going to cut it as a racehorse. Percy is currently WTC and trotting over poles/small fences. Percy is the perfect first horse type for an ammie or a junior. Percy is a bit more ‘whoa’ than ‘go’ but isn’t dead to the leg. Percy is a lovely mover and once he figures out his body he is going to have a fantastic jump. Three lovely gaits. Perfect manners. This guy is going to make up to be something fantastic. Percy is perfect off property - he stands quietly in the trailer, he waits patiently until instructed to do something. No vices. No unsoundnesses. Percy is currently barefoot. Brandywine MD.

George W had a great start to our show season. This horse is anything but easy - he’s strong, he’s big, he’s a chicken… but this course is one of the most rideable and responsive courses he’s ever done. So extremely proud of this guy and how far he’s come.

Talk about a busy week - our show season has officially started! From Culpeper to BEST, we had a great kick off ! Horses were great. Riders were great. Everyone’s winter homework truly has paid off. Now onto our spring homework to continue the forward progress! Stay tuned for photos and videos!

Bugs is a 2013, 16.1h TB gelding. He retired off the track back in May 2023 after 45 starts and making just over $100k. Bugs made his way here not too long ago to start his education for his next career.

This guy is just lovely. His manners are great. His brain is unbeatable. He’s a big mover but very respectful of his rider. He’s not spooky and he enjoys having a job. While Bugs has been with us, he’s been working on his fitness, connection and building his top line. Bugs has a very lovely way of going and his canter is like a couch. Super ammie friendly for a rider working with a trainer only because his gaits are big moving.

Bugs will officially be looking for a new home shortly, but can be available to the right home very reasonably before he continues growing his education.

No vices. No unsoundnesses. Bugs is very slightly over at the knee however this should not pose limitations as he’s already proven himself on the track.

🙃 Snag her before I come to my senses. 🙃

Wilma is a lovely 2020, 16+h TB mare. Wilma is just that lovely - her movement, her manners, her brains, her in your pocket personality. She is truly a gem. Wilma is currently working on correct flatwork and connection. Wilma has been lightly started over fences and offers a natural change. She is not spooky or marish and she is the same ride even with time off. No vices. No unsoundnesses. Suitable for an ammie or junior working with a trainer. Wilma is one of the nicest TBs that has come through our barn - in every possible aspect.

Sadly for sale as I need to make a decision between two RRP mounts. Wilma is a bit more huntery while I have a bit more of a jumper focus (and Miss Nora is just that). Wilma is in zero rush to find a home. She is for sale, not on sale. Special considerations given to a quality show home.

Our horse show was sadly cancelled this weekend due to weather and other circumstances. Wilma was slated to make her debut - snag her before her show miles begin next month (and I come to my senses!)

🌼🌸Just in time for the spring weather, Nora is seeking her new human to do all the things with!🌼🌸

Nora (JC Anoria) is a 2021 16+h TB mare. She is a super easy and straightforward type ride. Her balance is lovely as she’s built extremely uphill. Nora is currently working on connection and flatwork. She’s an ‘old soul’, in your pocket and aims to please type. She picks up on questions asked and tries her best to answer correctly - zero naughty behavior, she wants to do things correctly. Nora has the perfect amount of whoa/go with good brakes. She is not spooky. She has a great work ethic. Nora currently WTC, picks up both leads and works over poles. Given her age, her flatwork is priority however I see this mare having a lovely jump with a big ground covering stride.

Nora squashes any stereotype of a chestnut mare. She’s in your pocket. She loves being groomed and doted on. She really wants to be your best friend.

Unfortunately due to a client’s life changes, Nora is up for sale. Nora is RRP eligible and our plan was for her to attend. Special considerations given to an RRP home.

Elbee was foot perfect yesterday with an intermediate rider - he WTC and popped around a few fences in less than ideal conditions - wind, spitting precipitation and horses running in the field and he was unfazed.

Thelma is just so adorable! In your pocket, squeeze her cheeks and feed her peppermints kind of adorable. Thelma is super easy going and a more ‘whoa’ than ‘go’ type. She wasn’t much phased in her free lunge session nor did she want to reminisce about the race track. Shes a lovely mover with a hunter type presence. I would imagine she would be an easy restart for an ammie or a junior.

Thelma retired from the track in December 2023 with 5 starts and making a whopping $1700. Thelma is currently being advertised as ‘not restarted’ due to the winter weather. Thelma is vice free and retired sound.

Jackie and Benny. After a few months of ‘back to basics’ they got to pop over a few jumps in their lesson. The confidence and communication has improved ten-fold between this pair! Benny is not an easy ride by any means, but this goober truly loves to work and loves to please. Slow and steady wins the race and they are well on their way.
