“This picture was taken after a very long walk, Rusty (Rudy) is really tired. 🥱 😴

We adopted Rusty from the Branson Humane Society on Tuesday, November 26th. Rusty is a very laidback 4 year-old Australian Shepherd. He has been a wonderful addition to our household and has fit in perfectly. He gets along very well with our two dogs and three cats. Sometimes it seems like he has been part of our household for years.

We fostered Rusty for a few days before he was neutered on Monday, November 25th. We were staying in our RV in Branson. All of us enjoyed hiking on the walking trails and hanging out in the RV. We felt terrible when we took him back to the Humane Society to be neutered. Rusty didn’t understand we were giving him back for only a few days and he definitely let us know he was upset.

He was neutered on Monday, November 25th, and we adopted him on Tuesday, November 26th. Rusty was over excited when we picked him up from the Humane Society. We had to take him for a long walk at the campground to calm him down. Since we are RVers, he will be travelling with us on most of our trips as he is a joy to be with. We plan to take him with us to Branson in March, Michigan in May and June, Tennessee in September, and Branson in October and November.

We enjoy him immensely. He wants to be near us all the time and follows us everywhere. He is our sweet shadow. We were very fortunate that when we got Rusty, he was house trained and trained to walk on a leash. He seldom pulls on the leash while walking. He walks calmly by my side. All of us love our walks.

Rusty is a foodie. He loves people food, any and all people food. You cannot put food on the table and walk away or he will help himself. He loves belly rubs, the longer the better. He loves snow and loves to eat it and make snow angels. He can wiggle on his back in the snow forever.”

The cats at Mochas and Meows Cat Cafe and Adoption Center - Branson, Missouri are looking forward to having guests on Friday night for Cat Bingo! They are missing all the daily activity since it's the slow time of the year.

So..... if you have ever wanted to visit the cats at Mochas and Meows, Friday is your chance. For $5, you get entrance into the cat lounge AND get to play Bingo for over an hour. It's a win/win.

We LOVE when the ladies from Coach come out and walk the dogs. We have a house full of dogs and it was great getting everyone out for an extra long walk. Thank you so much!!

** update #2 ** thank you to everyone that placed an order!! They are getting picked up now!!

updated - Tractor Supply said they no longer let people pay over the phone. So if anyone can go pick up a few bags that would be great!

We just opened our last bag of kitty litter yesterday, and we’re in need of Tractor Supply Pellets (cat litter). It costs about $8 for a 40 lb bag.

If anyone is able to help, please call Tractor Supply in Hollister at 417-334-4428 and pay for a few bags. We have someone who can pick them up for us.

“We adopted Jelly a few months ago and he’s fit right in! He is now named Haku which is a water dragon because he just melts in your arms like water. He is extremely cuddly and sweet. He and his brother Cassiopeia love to wrestle and play! Haku is very spoiled in his new furever home :).
