One of our volunteers just found this kitten at Fall Creek Resorts. She's calling Branson PD to report her, but wanted us to post also. In case she was lost.

** Update - we have an industrial fan donated and headed this way. Money has been donated so we can secure the part. And we have someone volunteering to help find the part so we hopefully won't have to order it.

🚨 Emergency Help Needed 🚨

The air conditioner in our Doggie District suite went out overnight, and with these high temps, it’s just too hot for the dogs to stay in there without working A/C. We had someone out today and unfortunately, it needs a $500 part to be repaired.

We're at full capacity right now and have no other place to move the dogs.

👉 If anyone has any industrial fans we could borrow for a few days, it would help immensely.
👉 If you can help with the $500 repair cost, please donate in person or through our website — Facebook donations take too long for urgent needs.

This is the third major emergency we've had in the last month. Every extra penny we’ve had has gone toward getting our low-cost spay/neuter clinic up and running — because we know how badly the community needs it.

We hate to keep asking, but we hope you understand that it’s all for the animals in our care now — and the ones we’ll help in the future.

Meet Mallie & Chloe – Two Beautiful Girls Looking for a Fresh Start
Mallie (the brown labradoodle) and Chloe (the golden doodle) were recently surrendered after their loving owner was hospitalized and could no longer care for them. These sweet girls have been cherished and spoiled their whole lives, and now they’re ready for new beginnings.

Mallie is a gentle, affectionate girl who just wants to be near her person. At over 100 pounds, she’s a big girl with a big heart—and would thrive as an only dog with someone who can help her get to a healthier weight with daily walks and lots of love.

Chloe is a six-year-old golden doodle with a golden tail and a spunky spirit. She’s active, loves the outdoors, and is ready to be someone’s walking buddy.

They are not a bonded pair and can be adopted separately. Mallie and Chloe are both sweet, special girls looking for someone to love them as much as they’ve been loved before.

They are in foster for the holiday weekend, but will be back at the shelter by Monday.

🚨 It’s raining cats—literally! 🚨

We just took in 11 new cats and kittens—10 from Branson Animal Control and 1 illegally dropped off—and we are bursting at the seams. That brings us to over 100 cats in our care… and that’s not counting the 40+ at Mochas and Meows! 😿

💡 Reminder for Branson residents: If you find stray cats or kittens, you MUST contact Branson Animal Control first. They are the only ones who can approve intake and coordinate pickups. Unauthorized drop-offs put both animals and our staff at risk.

🐾 On a brighter note, our amazing tech Victoria is working hard to raise $1,000 to build a HUGE new cat space inside the shelter to help with the overflow. Every dollar helps make life better for these kitties.

This month marks Cleveland’s first full year with Branson Humane Society—and what a year it’s been!

As our Dog Technician, Cleveland has truly transformed life in the Doggie District. From the moment he joined the team, he’s stepped in wherever he’s needed—whether it’s hands-on training, cleaning, events, or just making sure every dog gets the attention they deserve. Under his care, the dogs are better trained, adoptions are up, the kennels are cleaner than ever, and our pups are showing up to events calm, confident, and ready to shine. His dedication and leadership have made a huge difference for our animals.

Now he’s stepping up for the dogs once again—taking on a push-up challenge to raise money for something we urgently need: new Kuranda ShelterBeds. These raised beds keep our pups off the floor, giving them comfort, support, and a much healthier rest while they wait for their forever homes. 🐶💤
