Thank you to the residents at Terrace Green Apartments for the donations for our animals. Gandolf had been living outside at these apartments where people looked after him. They made us aware of him and they wanted what was best for him. We are so appreciative of their support!

We got Gandolf’s bloodwork back and it was actually pretty good. There are a few things that were noted but could be a result of his FIV. He is having some digestive issues and we are going to try some meds to hopefully get him over that. Gandolf really needs a variety of wet food and treats. He has a hard time chewing and really love food with gravy or mousse. We’ve added items to our wishlist for him or you can purchase items and drop them off at Branson Veterinary Hospital.

Our handsome Hugo is still waiting on his forever home. He is a big, goofy boy. He is FIV positive but it doesn’t phase him and he can live peacefully with other friendly cats. He does get along with calmer, laid back dogs and good with kids. Hugo is 5-6 years old and fully vetted. He’s a really sweet boy and deserves his own loving family.

Gandolf went to the vet yesterday. They sent off bloodwork and f***l sample. He did test positive for FIV, which isn’t a big deal to us. Gandolf used to live in the same feral colony as Swirl and Hugo. Hugo also has FIV. We suspected Gandolf was as he used to fight a lot with other males. We should have bloodwork and f***l results Monday. His vetting is already costing several hundred dollars and he hasn’t even gotten vaccines yet. Please donate if you can. We appreciate your support.

We are in need of several items for various animals in our rescue. We always need canned cat food. We also need gravy type food for Gandolf as he barely has any teeth. Gandolf has yet to figure out a litter box so we need really large potty pads for his cage. Lulu also needs fish oil supplements as she’s dealing with allergy issues and losing fur. Items can be purchased off our Amazon wishlist.

Gandolf is old and in pretty rough shape. He is such a sweet boy. The photos don’t show how skinny he is. His pelvic and hip bones protrude a lot, his ears are a mess and he has barely any teeth left. Due to him being a senior we really need to do bloodwork on him on top of necessary routine stuff. Please donate if you can. We’d greatly appreciate it.

Everyone meet Gandolf! Gandolf used to live in a feral colony and then took up residency at some apartments. He’s old and having a harder time in the cooler weather. He’s in pretty rough shape, but he’s so sweet now. Please donate if you can. We need to get him to a vet for bloodwork and routine vetting so we can get him as healthy as possible!

Swirl came to us in May from a feral colony. She was pregnant at the time. She had 3 kittens and was the best mom to them. She was not super feral but let us know she didn’t want handled too much. Once her babies were adopted she really started to let our director in. She has really bonded with her and now seeks out attention from her. She doesn’t like to be picked up or held, but loves to snuggle. We hope one day we can find the perfect home for her. In the meantime she is getting the love and care she needs. We truly love feral cats. They didn’t ask to be feral and they deserve love and care as well.

We desperately need to find a home for Miss Ginger. She is such a sweet girl with people, but does not like other animals. She is a tripod, but it does not phase her at all. She will need to be the only animal in her future home, but she is loving and deserves a family of her own.

Did you know we have a sanctuary of animals who are lifers here? Some of these guys are with us due to behavior issues, health issues or just get completely overwhelmed when things change. Many of these cats came to us while doing TNR and get along beautifully with our director but not other people. We rely on monetary donations to provide for these animals for their entire lives. Please consider donating to us to help us cover expenses associated with them.
(This collage was put together while Walter was still alive. He was with us for 10 years and very much one of our sanctuary animals due to several issues he had)

We have recently received some amazing donations! We ask that if you are shipping anything large to us to please make sure that goes to our mailing address. We’ve had several big boxes shipped to our vet and they have to store them till we can get them. Items are our Amazon wishlist need to come to our mailing address so please do not change that. Dropping off small items there is always fine. We just don’t want to have large, heavy boxes taking up space for too long in their clinic. Thank you all so much for your support!
