Welcome to SOCKS Animal Rescue page! We are a volunteer rescue working to save overlooked cats at kill shelters.
Senior cats, shy cats, and cats that are so scared in shelters that they become defensively aggressive can end up sitting in cages for months. This puts them at a high risk of developing health conditions like upper respiratory infections, which are often passed around in shelters, and stress related issues like urinary blockages, inappetence, and more.
Our mission is to get these cats out of the shelter and into foster homes, where they can learn to thrive again. And then they can finally find their forever homes!
