Finally here ! I was beginning to think it would not happen. After losing my other two babies. We went to a dry lot to await the arrival. I guess he wants to look like dad .

Well my luck has not been to great so far. I contribute to fescue toxicity.

Had what appeared to be a Grulla Filly with blaze face, she passed within 48 hours.

Then witnessed the third birth, bay filly, mom did not have much milk, I immediately gave her some colustrum, vitamins and did what I could do. She was not able to stand on her own and was very wobbly , when I stood her up. She too has passed away.

So needless to say my last mare to foal is on dry lot. So hopefully I will have one baby this year.

Good grief!

Last picture is Sadie’s , her mare has foaled and is doing great. I am thankful her filly lived.
