We are trying it get a repeat breeding of Gnarls and Crash, all the puppies from the last litter are doing great with their hunting careers!

Had a Great weekend at Central Texas Retriever Club's hunt test! We ran 100% both days with 3 Finished dogs and 2 Seasoned dogs with one Seasoned title. Al passed his first 2 Finshed tests. Pictures to follow.

I have a friend that is going back into the hospital because of cancer. He has a litter of Chesapeakes right now that are 9 weeks old, dew claws removed, wormed, first round of shots. All are males and 2 of them are going to be larger. He is willing to sell them for a very reduced price,( with papers) or give them away without papers. They come from good lines, the Sire is one of my pups out of Eve and Dan Davis's "Rebel" that is a Show Champion and great hunting dog.

I have had Chesapeake Bay Retrievers since 1972 and my Grandpa had them all his life and used them for market hunting back in the 1920’s and early 1930’s. I can remember him all ways telling me they will never let you down! I have used them for personal hunting and companions all my life. When I got married later in life my wife fell in love with my dogs and wanted to try breeding them, that is how Bigbaydogs started and we strive on breeding the best Chesapeakes we can to keep this Great breed going on doing what they were breed for. All of our dogs Hunt, compete in hunt tests, and are now starting to compete on the bench all so. They all have their hips, elbows, eyes tested and OFA graded and are DNA tested for DM, EIC and PRA. We do not breed dogs that do not test out good.
