Hey everyone!! we know it has been a HOT minute since we’ve posted on our facebook, and it’s because you guys sure know how to keep us busy! we have a few announcements we would like to make!
I would like to take this time to remind everyone that the extremely busy holiday months (November and December) are upon us! to guarantee your pup is looking fresh for the holidays, we strongly recommend to pre-book your appointments, as spots tend to fill up extremely quickly! 🦃🎄
ALSO, we are so excited to announce that we will now have DOGGY DAYCARE from the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM! we will be accepting up to 5 dogs per day, and “go home” baths will be available upon request! this is a great opportunity for pups if you don’t like them staying home by themselves all day, or if you want your pup to get some socialization with other people and dogs! message us for pricing if interested. as always, thank you guys for all the support and love. we are so blessed to have you! ☺️🐶✨

hey you guys!!
i know it has been quite a while since we’ve posted anything, y’all have been keeping us BUSYYY 🫶🏼
recently, someone posted in a community page asking for recommendations for a groomer, and we were completely overwhelmed in the best way possible with how many of you guys recommended us! i know i say it all the time, but it truly means so much to us how many of you choose us to take care of your babies. we know trusting someone with your pup can be a hard decision, and we are so honored that you guys choose us to take on that special role. we love you guys and we love your pups (and our few kitties 😄) we couldn’t do it without you!! we promise to keep earning your trust and to keep taking special care of all the sweet babies who come through our doors. we genuinely LOVE what we do, and we hope our love continues to shine through our work and your support. y’all have truly made my day.

We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving and ate allllllllllll the yummy foods 🦃🤎🍂
Last week we were extremelyyy busy, just like most holiday weeks at the salon! We answered the phone as often as we could, but we know some of the calls got missed and forgotten about in all the chaos! Me and Brennan did 50 dogs in 3 days all by ourselves, to give you guys some context of what it was like last week. 😂
With that being said, today we will be getting back to everyone that we may have missed! Also, we have openings this coming week!
This year, we were thankful for YOU and your sweet pups. We couldn’t do this without your love, support, and trust! We want to thank you for choosing us
to take care of your pups. We love each and every one of them so much 🤍🐶

Hey y’all! I know we’ve already addressed the no show situation but it is a reoccurring issue that I think needs further explanation. To you it might just be a missed appointment that you can reschedule. To us, you’re not only taking money out of our pockets for the missed appointment but we lose so many clients bc we can’t get them in soon enough. The spot you had could’ve been those clients spot. That makes it twice the money and possibly another client and future business. In addition to all that lost business you could be taking a spot from a dog who was in desperate need of grooming. We understand unexpected things happen. We just ask that when you get the reminder text if you know you’ll be out of town or unable to make it please take 15 seconds out of your time to text 337-486-7565 and let us know. We’ve always had a no show fee but we hate charging it because we love our clients and we know y’all don’t mean any harm. Going forward a no show fee of $20 dollars will be added to your next bill if we aren’t given a notice. Thank y’all for taking time out of your day to read this. We appreciate all of yall!

Hey guys sorry for the long post but we wanted to take a minute to recognize a member of the Good dog family who is no longer with us and tell his story!

When Red came to us he was large and in charge. 130 lbs of stubbornness that did not like the grooming process at all. In fact, he was even told he couldn’t go back to other places because of it. Let’s just say his first appointment wasn’t smooth sailing. He came to us every 2 weeks following that appointment per our recommendation and got better and better every time. We got to know and love the real Red and his personality and heart was just as big and beautiful as he was! I remember when we got the news that he wasn’t doing good we all had tears in our eyes and lumps in our throats just like I do now as I’m writing this post. He became more than a client he was our friend and we loved him. We are so grateful that we didn’t give up on Red and the Simon family didn’t give up on us. We can truly say we will never forget him. So we just wanted to show our love and appreciation for this family and all our our other families that trust us with your babies. We are so thankful that we get to know and love them for however long we have with them. R.I.P buddy we sure are gunna miss taking care of Ol Red!

Good Dog Grooming Shout out to Kaitlyn and Brennan for doing an awesome job grooming my cat, Sonny, yesterday! He had some matting going on and had never been professionally bathed/groomed. He looks and SMELLS wonderful! I would highly recommend them and Sonny will be back!
