Another day in the life at Webb Cattle Co. We’re thankful we have all the resources we need to handle these situations. This is our newest shortie Ino x Kaprika baby!!

Anyone that has followed us for a while just knows all about Lucy. She’s all grown up now and it’s kinda sad 😢 but exciting at the same time. She’s no longer our Airbnb cow, she’s a big girl now, and in her big girl pasture 🥰
One thing about Charlotte x Everett babies…they have all the hair!!!! I love 💕 this pairing!!
Triplet update…To everyone who has inquired and asked for an update we have some sad 😞 news. We have always gotten every mama who has had twins to take both babies, and we’ve had a lot of twins!!
With the triplets we decided to also let her take all three babies instead of pulling one. We made the decision to just supplement because when I say this mama is the BEST mama she is the best!
After having the twins she frantically went from one to the next and e next trying to get them all clean. She allowed all 3 babies to nurse from her without any fuss. We never even had to assist.
We did bring each twin in and gave colostrum and blowed dried them off just to make sure all of them were off to a good start. We then put them back with mama and opened the barn so the triplets and her would have plenty of room.
Unfortunately the next morning we found the mama had partially laid on one of them. It was all snuggled up in the hay and she just laid down 😢 Three was just too many to keep track of and of course hindsight is 20/20.
Looking back we should have separated mama and babies and just let them back in to eat until they were all use to each other.
Brad especially took it hard because of course having triplets felt like such a gift, and then to have one get laid on was very difficult to take.
Now that a little time has passed, and because we have been getting so many messages for updates we decided to share. We do still have 2 gorgeous silver girls bouncing around and doing amazingly, and both still with their mama 🥰
Night time check in on the babies 🥰
Have you been thinking about adding registered AHCA stock to your fold?
Meet Ginger, a breathtaking white Highland embryo heifer that showcases all the best traits of her sire, ZR Everett and her dam Bennachie’s Sylvia. You can see her here next to our smallest little HighPark girl, and Ginger is not much bigger.
Adding a really solid registered foundation to our herd has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. No matter what direction the market swings you will still have registered stock. I personally love bloodlines in addition to high quality. What I’m finding is that a lot of the high quality and bloodlines go hand in hand.
Meri is ready for a Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎁 🎄
We are excited to present Piper of Circle AM, an exceptional white Highland embryo baby. She is the offspring of one of the sweetest cows you will ever meet, Hawfields Wish Upon A Star. Piper’s sire, ZR Everett, comes from bloodlines that trace back to the original herd books, highlighting a distinguished pedigree. @circleamcattlecompany
We had a first for us! This mama had been up and down without the water bag breaking and no sign of hooves. Brad decided to get her in the barn maternity pen in case we needed to pull a calf. I came in and decided I’d set my phone up in a strategic position in case we could capture some content…I had no idea what was to come!!
