Clinton County Humane Society - IL Clinton County Humane Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We do not receive funds from any taxes or associations.

We rely solely on charitable donations and fundraisers to support our organization. Appointments can be made outside our public hours for adoptions. You are more than welcome to come in during our public hours to see the animals, please note that not all animals may be available at that time. You can go to our Petfinder page through our website ccilhs.org to see our available animals. Adoption app

lications can be filled out at the building or by going to our website ccilhs.org/forms to be considered for an adoptions. We are also available by sending us a PM on Facebook. We do offer meet and greets usually the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month - please check our page for last minute changes or cancellations. These are to allow you to see all of our available animals at one time and adopt right away. We are run mostly on volunteers, so please be patient in the process of adopting.

Ok, so we did a little something to help CCAC out with all their kennels of kitties!! We are all working together to help the overpopulation of cats. Dr. Brown is also working with us and will be spaying and neutering them as they are big enough, starting with a bunch this weekend!
❤️‼️ Please help us help them! We will now need lots more food and/or funds to help with all the vetting costs. Please consider donating

Alfie is STILL searching for his home 😓😓 Alfie has been with us for 2 months now. He is a wonderful dog !! If youre looking for an easy going companion, he is perfect. Alfie rides great in a car, is kennel trained, and housebroken. He is dog dominant but does well with more submissive dog friends. He has never met a human he doesnt love ! He will stand still and let you give him baths and brush him. He is happy to trot around outside in the yard or will walk nicely on leash with you, but if youre more of a homebody he is okay with that too ! Perfectly content to sit on the couch or look out the window. He is 50 lbs. He does have some allergies, so we currently are trying a simple over the counter allergy pill- but he could potentially need a prescription allergy medicine in the future. If Alfie sounds like a good match for you, let us know ! HE IS WAITING FOR YOU 💙💚
