When I started CFC four years ago, I never set out to build a business. I just wanted to help support my family while still being fully present for my children. I’ve loved animals since I was little, and my sister is the one who opened my eyes to professional pet sitting 8 years ago. She taught me so much in those early years, and without her, none of this would have been a thought in my mind.
That first year as CFC doing everything alone came with a lot of learning curves — long days, late nights, weekends, holidays — but it also came with purpose. Being able to work while still showing up for my kids on sick days, appointments, and school moments was something I never imagined could exist. It’s been one of the biggest blessings of my life.
Over time, God placed the right people beside me. Our team is small, but they truly care. Not only do we work together — slowly, we’ve become each other’s village. Yes, it took trial and error to get here, but we respect one another, we support one another, and dare I say… we may love each other for exactly who we are. That kind of bond isn’t found in most workplaces, and I don’t take it lightly.
Watching Polly and Desiree fall in love with this work, just like I did when I first learned from my sister, makes me so grateful. They care so deeply for animals, and they still get to be there for their children — and sharing that blessing with them is something I don’t take for granted.

Your support has carried not just me, but my family, our team, and CFC as a whole. You’ve helped create something meaningful — something that allows moms & dads like us to do what we love while caring for our families.
