The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! 🐍✨ Our baby Dumeril's boas are here and ready to meet you! After years of dedication, patience, and careful breeding, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve successfully produced these stunning little boas ourselves.

Their mom, Postal Service, is from the original Rose Line—her lineage shines through with beautiful bright oranges and pinks with high contrast in these gorgeous babies. 🧡🖤

Looking for dubia feeder roaches?!? Well we have PLENTY in stock!!!!! 🪳🪳🪳

Are you trying to build you own dubia roach breeder colony? Here's a few tips to take into consideration to MAXIMIZE your colony's potential:

● Start with either a plastic storage tote or even a glass aquarium (they can't climb smooth surfaces)
● You may need to modify the lid to allow SOME airflow while still maintaining adequate humidity
● Egg crate is one of the best ways to increase surface area for climbing and breeding
● The ideal temperature for breeding is growing is 90-95°F, which can be attained by using a heat mat on the side of your breeding bin (thermostats will greatly help from getting too hot!) 🔥
● Humidity should stay around 60%, too dry and these guys will die, but too wet and you increase the chance for mold growth 💦
● Food for your dubias is important! They will be fed to your animals, so you should keep their diet diverse and healthy
● Orange colored foods such as carrots (high in carotenoids) are super beneficial and actually aid in breeding! 🥕🥕
● Consider a nutrient dense gut-load to feed your dubias prior to feeding (you can purchase some from us!) 🦎
● Do NOT provide standing water for dubias!! They will drown themselves quickly and make a mess. Instead, you can use a damp sponge, gel water crystals, or even a potato to help them maintain adequate hydration
● Remove any uneaten fruit or vegetables within 48 hours to prevent mold
● Be sure to clean their breeding bin at least once every week or two

Well look no further! We've got plenty of tarantulas to choose from!! 😀 Some new world species, a couple old world species; beginner-friendly spiders as well as some that are a bit more advanced! From dwarfs to birdeaters and curly hairs to OBT's, we may not have every species, but we do have some interesting ones. 🕷

And if you're not into tarantulas: that's okay!! Not everybody is. Let us know in the comments what kind of animals you guys want to see more of 🐍🦎

Another long term dream has come true at our store today!! 😍😍 The miracle of (scaly baby) child birth! Our beautiful Dumeril's Boa, Postal Service, is one proud mama 😀 We counted 8 beautiful healthy babies, and NO stillborn or slugs!!!!!! We couldn't be happier. (Not to mention, these are some pretty large newborns!)

🐍🤓 Fun fact: Dumeril's Boas are viviporous, which means that instead of laying eggs like many other snakes, they give birth directly to a litter of live babies!

Once we get the new babies settled, established and eating, we hope to have a few available for sale! We will keep our Facebook updated with these beautiful babies and their progression in the coming weeks 😀

We finally got some young jumping spiders in!! We've had a lot of interest lately, so come check these little guys out while they're here! 😀

Taking pictures of such tiny creatures is no easy feat, but it's so rewarding to see such cuteness up close 🕷

AXOLOTLS!!!!!!! We just got in some beautiful leucistic babies, and they are all looking super healthy! Swing by and check em out if you're interested 😀

Curious on how to care for these fully aquatic amphibians?? ⬇️⬇️

🌿 First, let's cover some basics: these guys will require at LEAST a 20gal long aquarium, their average adult size averages 10"-12", and if cared for properly can even live past 20 years old!! These are FULLY aquatic salamanders, the stress of metamorphosing (undergoing a natural biological change to a different stage in developmental growth) to a terrestrial salamander will greatly shorten their lifespan.

🌊 Now, for care requirements: minimal flow is ideal, but you don't want stagnant water, so it's best to go with an air pump powered sponge filter. These guys might sell like hot cakes, but they like their water pretty cold (65°-68°F)!! So no heater required for this tank. Their diet consists of various types of worms (blood worms, earth worms, black worms, etc.), but you can also find axolotl specific pellet food. A major thing to note: stress can be lethal to these guys, and handling should never be done unless it's an absolute emergency.

Always do your research! Know what you're getting yourself into! Enjoy your animals! ✌🏼
