PAWS of Bremerton is once again excited to announce our participation in the 2023 Kitsap Great Give. Over the next week we will be posting to support our cause and we invite everyone to stop in on April 11, 2023 for Punch and Cookies. Also who knows, you may take home a new friend!

It’s almost that time again! We’re excited to announce that we’ll be participating in another annual Kitsap Great Give! Help us continue to serve our community and its fur babies. More details will be coming soon. 😸

Last night someone decided to leave 3 kittens & their mother on the walk way at PAWS of Bremerton around midnight last night. They were smart enough to put holes in the lid of a red Rubbermaid container for breathing. But because they left them outside with no type of shelter from the freezing cold, rainy weather with no blankets, news paper, food, or water, there was a serious problem. These babies struggled to stay warm as they were trapped now in a container that is filling up with water from the holes they put in the lid to allow oxygen in. Eventually the mother escape from the container but the lid reclosed leaving her 3 beautiful babies. They couldn't escape, 2 of the kittens ended up drowning in the container leaving 1 kitten barely alive. He was rushed to the vet where it looks like he will make a full recovery.
For the individual that is guilty of this transgression, SHAME ON YOU!! Had you brought them in during regular business hours (not midnight), we could have accommodated your situation.
For those of you reading this and have cats/kittens you no longer want, PLEASE be responsible for their well-being. They are a living and breathing creatures.
