USS Ronald Reagan Ombudsman

An Ombudsman communicates regularly with command families, provides information and outreach to comm Welcome Reagan Families and Friends! We are here for you!

The Ombudsman Team consists of Reagan spouses. We are volunteers appointed by the command to serve as a point of contact and resource for all Reagan families. This includes spouses, parents, extended family, or anyone listed as contacts by a Reagan sailor. Please make sure you have our contact information handy in the event of an emergency. To ensure the Ombudsman Team has you listed as a contact,

have your sailor send an email to [email protected] from his/her ship email address with your information (name, email address, relationship and location). The email MUST be from a valid Reagan address. Once the Ombudsman Team has you on file, we can share valuable information with you. Please remember to NOT post dates, port visits, ship locations and ship movements when using social media or email. Let's keep our sailors safe. Questions or concerns? Please reach out to us! If we can't find an answer for you, we will find someone who does.

SERVING FAMILIES BETTER

The Navy, during recent assessment of the EFMP program, determined existing program categories did not effectively address the unique needs of EFMs and their families. As a result, the Navy will now adopt a more personalized and flexible approach to replace these categories. This provides better service to EFMP Families in ensuring tailored PERS 456 reviews of unique needs and care is available for suitable assignments.

Pet Parents starting August 1st new requirements to bring your pet to the U.S.

Starting on August 1, all dogs entering the U.S. (including those that left the U.S. and are returning, and regardless of the country they are coming from) must be:
• healthy upon arrival
• at least 6 months of age
• microchipped
• accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt and required vaccination and veterinary documents.

Additional requirements may apply depending on where the dog has been in the last 6 months and whether or not the dog was vaccinated in the United States.
