Though I have done pet sitting for many friends and family, I have decided to start my own pet care service. I have 14 years of experience working with animals in a variety of fields and I am currently working part-time as a veterinary assistant at Big Valley Vet in Poulsbo, WA. My animal care career began with my employment at the Baltimore County Humane Society in Reisterstown, MD. I continued m
y education in animal sciences and moved on from the shelter to work as a veterinary assistant at clinics in Maryland, Oregon, and now in Washington State. I also spent some time working for an animal boarding and day-care facility in Oregon, and greatly enjoyed working with animals outside the hospital environment. I have handled, and am comfortable with, large to small dogs, cats, small companion animals, reptiles and birds. I have had many pets of my own over the years including multiple cats, dogs, rabbits, aquatic turtles, mice, fish, and gerbils. I know how difficult it is to travel and work long hours with pets waiting for you at home. It is always such a great relief to find a sitter who I can trust to watch my babies while I am away, and know they are being well cared for. Knowing how important your pets are to you, I will always strive to care for your animals as my own, to ensure their well being and safety.
