My favorite part of the day is when all the animals are all fed with full bellies and now all have EXTRA hay for the next few days in this chilly weather!

Remember, hay and straw are your best friends right now!

We are hiring for the mobile petting zoo

If you are available weekends and located in the Brenham / Washington county area, we are looking for a few individuals who can go out with the traveling zoo!

We are looking for someone to ride with, and also someone who has their own SUV/ TRUCK that can do small petting zoos by themselves!

It is a Daily pay rate

If you are using your vehicle, your fuel will be reimbursed!

We also buy everyone lunch!

Hello

We have been EXTREMELY busy this past month with it being rodeo season!

We have been booked almost every day so far in the last month!

Please bear with me on replies as I am the only one running all social media accounts along with running the farm by myself!

Which we are still looking to hire people in the Brenham / Washington county area!

Most people in the exotic industry ask me “why don’t you just sell them before they get too big? Everyone exchanges them out at 8-10 months old to keep using babies for encounters. Plus you’re going to have a bunch of unaltered male kangaroos to feed!!”

Because I grow a bond with every single one I purchase. I do not have the heart to sell them especially since I don’t know where they will end up at in the long run.

I expect these babies to live their full 20 years HAPPILY. Not to be hunted on a game ranch. Not to be raised for food.

Kangaroos are NOT like other animals whatsoever.
Unless you have raised them like children, you really don’t have much to say about them.

When trained and brought up properly, they can make great yard pets and can also be house trained.
But you MUST neuter the males!

If you do not neuter the males, they will become up to 275 lbs and 6.5 ft tall!!
Neutering takes away the testosterone and the muscle mass, making them around 100 lbs / 5 ft tall. (Literally a large dog, your dog is 5 ft tall when standing all the way up from his back paws!)

They are the most low maintenance animal i have ever owned. They are one of the chillest animals with the best personalities!!! 🐾

We still have our first kangaroo, Scooby. Who is about 4 years, 90 lbs and about 5 ft tall standing all the way up.
He comes up to you every day from 20 acres away and all you have to say is “SCOOOOBBYYYY”
He wouldn’t hurt a fly and he loves to give everyone hugs & kisses!!

So, yes, I keep ALLLLLL the male kangaroos I purchase. Unless I find EXCELLENT homes for them, they all get neutered and released into our pasture! 🦘🫶🏻
