D**k was adopted on Saturday October 26th. Molly spent along time picking the perfect cat for her. He seems very happy at home and Molly takes good care of him.

Adoption Pup-date:

As promised, I am giving you an update on Hunter who we adopted a week ago last Saturday.
• First, we changed his name from Hunter to "Bixby". It just seems to suit him 🙂.
• We absolutely adore him as he is so very sweet and overall mellow.
• He gets along well with his adopted sisters and is the perfect companion for his sister "Rhea" (our problem child) giving her kisses when she is anxious. They love to play and chase each other! He is also very sweet with our 2 cats. He is trying to figure out what they are exactly but, he is so good with them that they easily accepted him as part of the family.
• Our big unknown was Dad. Let me tell you, Dad and Bixby are head over heels for each other and Bixby clearly prefers men. I am just his safe space. It's a good thing that this is a family of all men except for me.
• We do have some things to work on like potty training, counter surfing, and basic manners, but he is super receptive to correction. We are getting there and we feel like he has been with us forever!
I included a couple of pictures for you to share with all the wonderful people who took such good care of him. The first is our handsome guy with his own collar on and hanging out with us. The second is Hunter/Bixby chilling with his sisters.

I hope this information makes you feel good about his placement with us.

Owner surrender:

Charlie is a 1 yr and 3 month old male Lab Shepherd mix. He is already neutered. Charlie is gentle and precious with kids, though he isn't so trusting of strangers. He is very good with other dogs and great with cats as well! He has been an outside dog so he is not housetrained. He is said to be overall an awesome dog. He loves his daily walks on a leash and loves to run! Loud noises don't sit well with him, they stress him out. He knows basic commands such as "come" and "stay". He was surrendered because he kept digging his way out of the property and interfering with wildlife.

Hello this is chocolatte!!! Her new name is Coco Chanel she is now a spoil little girl who loves to play with toys but nothing with stuffing in it because she will get stuffing all over the house, she is obsessed with socks. We are learning how not to be scared of humans so we do weekly trips to petsmart. She is house trained and loves her kennel more then her bed. She is very protective of her owner.

Adoption Pup-date:

Coco, who is now called Margot, is loving her new home! She is kennel training and doing pretty good with potty training. She loves playing with her big sister Zelda and cuddling with me for a nap on the couch. She is the sweetest, most loving, surprisingly chill pupper. Zelda and I are so happy she's part of our little family now. Even if I had to relocate all of my shoes to a different room so she can't chew on them instead of one of the 50 million dogs toys that are here. We are working on understanding the whole idea of "fetch", wish us good luck! 🍀

Purr-fect adoption update:
I adopted Louie on 9/27 after he had been at the shelter for two weeks, and since then he has been a great addition to our family! Louie’s name fits him perfectly as he is king (King Louie XIV) and reigns over the house and our dog, Dak🤣. Louie loves waking up before the sun rises to play with the strings on the blinds, cuddle, and most importantly, to EAT. With only being out of the shelter for about a week, he has opened up immensely! It is truly amazing to see how quickly pets can thrive in a loving environment compared to shelter-life and I encourage everyone to save a life 🥰
