Adoption Pup-date:

We are so pleased with our two puppies. They have been a wonderful addition to the family. We would love to share an update with y'all.

We adopted Benny last year and recently adopted Cloud about a month ago. Benny is a goofy sweet boy and Cloud is a cuddly sweet girl. They both have been the perfect brother and sister to our kids. They love to run, eat, and play with the kids. We couldn't be happier! And so are they!

Purr-fect adoption update:

We are so glad to have added Nicholas to our family! His cute playfulness is a delight to everyone, and he and our older cats are learning to get along, which is so encouraging. His name often gets shortened to “Nico”. He snuggles readily in anyone’s lap for a quick cat nap, and has added lots of sweet purry softness to our lives!

Beanie is still available for adoption and we can't understand why! He is FIV+ but that doesn't mean he cannot live a long and happy life! FIV is only transmissible to other cats through deep bite wounds. So he can share his house with other calm kitties! He is around 11 years old, neutered, and litter box trained. Foster notes:

"It would be great if he could find an adopter. He needs one who can afford the medical bills and doesn't mind putting a dab of cream in his ears twice a day, and taking him to the vet as needed. When you describe him, you can say that he's been friendly, quiet, and well-behaved since he came to our house. I'm sure he'd be fine with other cats. He seems oblivious to the two he's been sharing a couple of rooms with. He did smack our blind cat the first few times Rusty bumped into him, but now he just gets out of the way. He looks really good right now."

Hey guys! Just wanted to share how “ruff” a life our Charlie has since we adopted him a little over 2 years ago! He rules our house; it’s his place we just pay the bills! 🤣
He is such a blessing to our life, far more than we knew we needed at the time!
Our biggest suggestion & best advice….ADOPT, DON’T SHOP!!

Adoption pup-date:

Mia, formerly named Freya at the shelter, has been with us since mid December. She has been an amazing addition to our family. Our kids absolutely adore her and she adores them. We love watching them play together. Her favorite is tug of war, but she also likes fetch and playing on the kids swingset. I'm so thankful we found her ❤️ We lost our 16 yo old shelter dog (lab) in August and Mia has just won over our hearts and helping to mend them. I can't say enough great things about Brenham animal shelter. They were friendly and kind, answered all of our questions and the workers/volunteers all seemed to love all the animals there.
