Shout out to Emma’s Sniff Spot in Stratham!
For those of you looking for a safe space to practice recall, this is your spot!
Callie and Finn had a blast playing together, practicing recall and relaxation. For those of you who do not know Callie, she’s been doing training with me for some leash reactivity and heightened arousal in public. As apart of her plan we are doing weekly play dates to boost her confidence and teach her how to effectively communicate with other dogs!

Expectations Vs. Reality…
With Tugg turning 9 this year, the only thing I am concerned about is making sure he lives an enriching and fulfilled life!
My point of this video: Notice how I did not repeat myself after I asked him to come inside. Also see Finn waiting patiently with calm behavior by the door without being told a cue?
When tugg made the final choice to come inside, I rewarded him with a treat! This is called R+ as I added a stimulus to reinforce his behavior of coming to the house. Finn was also rewarded with a treat for waiting calmly! Imagine if I was trying to encourage Tugg inside but Finn was running around the yard trying to play? That would’ve added extra arousal to a challenging situation for Tugg.

Silly Spinney!
He loved showing me around his favorite adventure spot! Spinney had some extra energy to burn, so we kept things fun and engaging. After he got out some zoomies and sniffing time, we did some “sit to say please” and recall practice. I promoted him to jump up onto the bench and over a fallen tree for some fun confidence building! At the end of our time together he had some independent time to explore and decompress.
It’s always a fun time with Spin-Man 🐾🌊

Congratulations to Mayah and her family for graduating their training program today! They worked hard to accomplish their goals, and are now able to confidently take Mayah out in public areas. Mayah and I did a heavy dose of canine meditation, cooperative care work, leash skills, and an introduction to recall.
I am so proud of this team 🐾🥳

Mayah recently joined our off-leash group adventures! It’s safe to say that they are having a blast - look at those play faces!
While off-leash adventures are a great time for playing and socialization, we also put in some work to promote engagement and fulfill more than just their exercise needs! A few things we work on include, relaxation protocols, recall, and more 🐾☀️

Jumping into Monday like…

Murphy, Finn and Tugg love their off leash adventures together. Our time is spent fulfilling exercise needs, both mental and physical. We also make sure to include lots of decompression time… sniffing is always encouraged! Specific training cues that we work on are sit to say please for good manners, recall reinforcement to continue training, and relaxation time!

Meet Nala!
Today she joined me for our first adventure together! After about 5 minutes of being slightly nervous, her body language began to relax and her nose started to take in many engaging smells. We moved at her speed, creating lots of positive associations to build our relationship and get her excited about exploring!

Mayah and I set off to add some extra enrichment to her day! For her this means running, sniffing, and given time to make her own decisions without any commands. After about 30 minutes of decompression we began to reinforce her recall! She was awesome and was very consistent.

Maverick and I had a blast at the beach today! We were able to fulfill his exercise and enrichment needs. During our trip we worked on reinforcing his recall with a moderately distracting environment. He was all smiles and wiggles for our adventure ❤️🐾

Maverick was very enthusiastic about the fresh snow this morning!
Maverick: “FRESH SNOW”
Me: “Are you having fun?”
Maverick: “YES THROW ME SOME SNOW BALLS HUMAN”

After some fun play in the snow we started working on reinforcing calm behaviors in his house, as preparation to start some socialization in the near weeks!

Adventures are a great way to enhance your dogs life! After a custom plan is built for your dog, we hit the trails, beach, and indoor centers! Our time is spent working on a variety of behaviors including recall, decompression and specific training cues. Do you want your dog to explore new places and have fun while doing it? EEPC is different from other pet care providers, as every service is custom to the canine that I am working with! Some days, dogs just need to zoom. Others may need some extra mental stimulation such as working on training cues or an enrichment item. Schedule your phone call to learn more!

On Mondays Murphy does zoom… Murphy brings the party to Mondays with enthusiasm, athleticism and of course his floppy tongue 🐾❤️

Maverick had an awesome start to our training over the next few months, as he prepares to be in his mom and dads wedding!! Today was our first outing together and I had a goal of creating positive associations and building trust with each other in public. Raynes Farm offers a lot of incredible decompression and natural sensory exploration for dogs. There is so much sniff, from animal scents, snow, wet or dry grass, and scents from other dogs! There was also a lot of good outlets for him to explore his touch, such as snow, mud, grass and the sunlight. This was a great start for our time together. In the video below you can see Maverick exploring at his own pace, look at that snout go!

I took Finn to the beach for his first time today, and I am so incredibly impressed with how far his training has come! We had several other distractions but his recall was on point! Next stop - therapy dog training! I cannot wait to see our journey together progress ❤️🐾
