We had a great time at the Ranch Horse Clinic at Marsh Creek Stables on Saturday! We had a fabulous group and it was amazing to meet some new people excited about getting started and moving forward in the ranch horse classes. Here’s another great way to support the Brant Barn Fire Fundraiser! Thank you EM Custom Show Pads

We are deeply saddened by the recent barn fire in Ohio that claimed the lives of nearly 100 horses, including a beloved mare named “Write My Name In Ice,” or “Daphne,” owned by Megan Swann, a cherished client of Brant’s.

In honor of Daphne, we will be donating all proceeds from the sales of the Dutchess pad through the end of the NRHA Derby (June 23) to the Brant Barn Fire Fundraiser. Both the pad and the mare were named after the same character from Bridgerton, and the pad would have looked absolutely stunning on the palomino mare. This pad was the last one Megan purchased for Daphne, and she never got the chance to use it.

The Dutchess pad is currently available for re-order, with an estimated delivery time of 4-5 weeks. We’d love to see people showing in this pad in honor of Daphne, celebrating her spirit and supporting those affected by this heartbreaking event.

YAY!! Pinnacle Circuit down - now on to the Level One Championships! Kudos to all my level one Amateurs and walk trot exhibitors for stepping up to the plate! You guys successfully navigated super busy make up pens and really loooong days of showing in the ranch events! That in itself is a feat, but you guys hung tough and served up personal bests, and runs that showed a ton of growth through out this show. Very proud of you guys and all your hard work!
Now for a quick night’s sleep before Ranch Trail practice……..

Congratulations to Freya Kruger for a fabulous first show with Hillbilly Shine at the Back 2 Basics Circuit! Freya and ‘Joe’ brought home TWO circuit championships in the Level One Am Ranch riding and Amateur Ranch Riding, and had successful trips in the Ranch Trail and Ranch Rail pens! These two are becoming a great team!

While I’m on my way to the AQHA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW, “Von Lolipop’ is putting in some ranch time! While this good looking mare is World Show Qualified in all levels of the Junior Ranch Riding, she couldn’t make it this year. So instead of showing off in the arena, she’s spending some time working on the ranch! Thanks Harlee Burtschi for putting some time on her!
