The SPCA of Tennessee is a foster-based rescue whose mission it is to make Tennessee a better place for animals. We focus on pairing pets with the best homes made available through adopters like you! The SPCA of Tennessee also advocates for the welfare of animals who may be facing abuse or neglect. Our rescue also emphasizes best practices for pets including spay/neutering to reduce the overpopula

tion of pets in Tennessee. We also encourage routine medical care including heartworm prevention. Adopters are also encouraged to invest in training and education to create a happy, loving and secure bond between pets and their forever families. We welcome fosters, volunteers, and donations to keep the organization going.

Our Story

The SPCA of Tennessee is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by volunteers. We are involved in helping animals in the state of Tennessee and surrender southern areas as well. We are trying to lower the amount of dogs that ended up at shelters. We encourage people to go and adopt a shelter dog. Our Moto is “Adopt Don’t Shop” Some counties in Tennessee they don't have enough capacity in their kennels to house so many animals who are found lost, neglected, abused or dumped in the streets by their owners. We are trying to lower the amount of animals that will are going to be euthanized due to the lack of space in their facilities. We are a NO Kill Organization that helps all animals no matter, the age and the breed or health issues. We are trying to help the ones who are being overlooked due to age, breed or for the longevity of being at the shelters for a long time. There are 95 Counties in the state and so many counties they don’t have the proper facility to care for the animals or they don’t have animal control. There are Counties like Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford that they are doing a great job in helping more animals to find their forever homes.

Our main goal is to be able to get more animals of the streets and situations where they are not well taking care of and give them a better life. FOSTER, VOLUNTEER or DONATE to our cause. Go to www.spcatn.org Thank you for all your support throughout the past 17 years. It has been a long road to follow but now an impossible dream to achieve. Rescue is not an easy task but with, faith determination and having the heart that it takes to do it, I believe what we do it is worthy. Help us continue building our dream to built a place for them. For years I have dreamed to built a place where animals can be love and care for and run free and never felt they will be overlooked or left behind. We care for you donations for your help. Like the Bible says Rome wasn’t built in one day but it was built through time and hard work. I believe in “YOU” and I believe that with your help we can make it happen. We won’t give up and I hope you help us make it happen.
