On the carousel yesterday, I was riding a mermaid… and today, I’m sending one off to her forever home. 🐾🧜‍♀️

This whimsical Weimermaid is an older sculpture from my collection—one that never quite found the right fit until now. Maybe she was just waiting for the perfect person and the perfect moment. 💫

Hand-sculpted from polymer clay and adorned with natural textures, sea-toned details, and a touch of storytelling, she’s a sweet reminder that everything comes full circle—especially when art imitates life.

🎨 Life’s been moving a little slower on the art front since adding a part-time job (and yes, the carousel music is still stuck in my head 🎠).

Finally sharing this from a few weeks back — spent time with a fellow artist who helped me dust off some old techniques.

On deck:

Spotted in the wild!
I couldn’t stop smiling when I saw my handmade crawfish earrings being proudly worn at the 13th Annual Crawfish Boil today in Franklin! From lemon slices to buttery corn, every detail was sculpted with love—and seeing them out in the world made my artist heart so full.

My heart is bursting with joy and gratitude! I had the absolute honor of meeting the legendary Manuel Cuevas, whose iconic designs have dressed legends like Dolly Parton and Elvis Presley.

He and his incredibly kind wife Ofelia welcomed me with warmth and generosity—taking the time to look through my artwork, share stories, and offer heartfelt encouragement. Manuel even agreed to create a custom Sasha & Pippin shirt for me—I’m still pinching myself!

I also picked up a blank canvas jacket that I’ll be painting with the wonders of India as part of the “AMC for Peace, Love, and Unity” initiative—a global art project promoting peace and supporting children in need. Each hand-painted jacket will represent a different country, and the collection will travel the world as a symbol of hope and unity.

It was like being wrapped in the wisdom and kindness of a grandfather—what a gift. Feeling so blessed to be a small part of something so meaningful.

When life gives you tomatoes… make art!

This juicy little experiment is part of my playful process as I explore ideas for the upcoming Tomato Art Show. I squeezed fresh tomatoes straight onto paper and let watercolor run wild through the juice—because why not?

Tiny Canvas, Big Win!

I’m beyond thrilled to share that my piece, “Art Imitates Life (and Destroys Art),” won both the People’s Choice and the Juried Award in the adult category at John P. Holt Brentwood Library Tiny Art Show hosted by Friends of the Brentwood Library.

This little sculpture of Sasha painting a portrait of Gemma, Stone, and Pippin—while Karma enthusiastically chews the easel—was such a joy to create and clearly resonated with others who know the chaos of life with pets.

Huge thanks to everyone who voted, visited the exhibit, or cheered me on from afar!

The show runs through April 30, so there’s still time to stop by and see all the amazing tiny masterpieces on display.

Hello extended Weimaraner and GSP families—and to all the new friends I met this weekend!
Despite the stormy start, it turned out to be a busy night at —and I loved every second of it! The conversations, the smiles, the shared pet stories… I left feeling so full of gratitude and inspiration.

Only one four-legged visitor showed up—but he was paws-itively perfect!

I had the joy of sharing Sasha & Karma-inspired art, custom portraits, wooden trays, cozy apparel, and more. A few pieces are still available—DM me to claim yours.

Berry bowls and blooming hearts!
Spent the evening at the beautiful making these whimsical berry bowls—complete with Sasha perched on the rim and a heart full of love. Fresh strawberries, clay-covered hands, and a table full of laughter? Yes, please!

So grateful for the new friendships, creative energy, and the chance to support a farm that helps feed my Nugget. Can’t wait to see how this little pup turns out after the kiln does its magic!

I’m so excited to share that I was featured in the ahead of this Friday’s Franklin Art Crawl! I’ll be showcasing my newest pieces—from playful polymer clay pups to colorful mixed media creations—at the Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church from 6–9 PM.
