Dear Valued Clients and Patients of Fairview Animal Hospital

We want you to know that we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to care for you and your pets each day. The doctors and staff at Fairview Animal Hospital would like to ask all our clients for support and understanding.

We are currently experiencing a higher than usual influx of sick, injured, and emergent cases in addition to our routinely scheduled wellness visits. While we are excited to see your pets each day, this means that we are booking out further in advance, as well as experiencing longer wait times. This is an industry wide scenario that veterinary hospitals across the country are also experiencing. Our local emergency clinics are reporting 4 to 6 hour wait times and some are even declining to treat new cases. While we are grateful to be a business that is busy during difficult economic times, as a result, we understand that we may not be providing the same customer service experience that you have come to expect from our practice. Please know that your veterinary team at Fairview are working tirelessly to ensure that we provide gold standard, top quality medicine to each patient.

As an industry that is already severely impacted by compassion fatigue, the management team would like to remind clients of the importance in treating our doctors and staff with respect, kindness, and understanding. We recognize our wait times are longer than usual, and that it is getting hot outside. Knowing this weighs heavily on our team. Please remember that we are all in this together.

Due to an influx of emergent patients, wait times are longer than normal, please anticipate an extended wait.
Please allow at least 72 hours for prescription refills

This is why veterinarians are deemed an essential service. This all happened in one day......an emergency C-section saving the mother and her puppies, a bleeding splenic tumor, cheek pouch abscess in a hamster, 2 cat abscesses, a broken leg in a puppy. Trying to help the ones in need and at the same time trying to stay safe and keeping the staff safe. Life of a veterinarian. We are there to help your pets. Stay safe and healthy everyone
