For those of y’all who know us personally you know that our clients become like family to us. Seeing clients as family isn’t always a good business practice. When clients are rude, disrespectful, or just plain mean it hurts deep as we truly care about each and every one of them. When clients are happy we are also extremely happy for them. When clients are hurting we also hurt and wish to fix things for them and make everything better.

Well one of our clients is hurting now and we are here asking our amazing community for help.

A phenomenal client reached out to us today to let us know her husband unexpectedly lost his job. We have been teaching their daughter for quite a few years now and she is one of those rare kids who is truly passionate about horses. No matter the farm chore she will jump in immediately if it means a little more time around the horses. This family is a huge part of our farm family and we want to help them.

We understand this is a big ask as money is tight for so many people but we are hoping to find sponsors for the next three months to give them time to get back on their feet. This incredible family has been a part of our lesson program for years and we hope they will continue to be a part of our farm family for many more years to come!

We are personally dropping all sponsored lessons to a discounted rate. We are knocking their sponsored private lessons down to $35/hr for March, April, and May to help them get back on their feet. We are praying the Lord will guide this family and provide help for them through looking for new income sources and for their sweet daughter to be able to continue lessons.

Ginger is by far the best pony to learn to trot on. She is extremely forgiving of kiddos mistakes and has the absolute best sloooooooow trot to learn on. She is our snail pony.🐌

Late to post (as always😬) but Scandal is home! She spent 60 days at HHF-Harkey Horsemanship on commission and got a nice tune up! As much as we love this girl she is still looking for her new home.

If you want a sweet “in your pocket” mare then this girl is for you! Scandal absolutely loves to just hang out with her person and has been exposed to all sorts of fun things. She can be anxious in new environments so needs an intermediate to experienced rider if traveling off property regularly but boy does she love to go off on Hunter Paces or relaxed trail rides! Scandal thinks the show life is a bit much but will always try her absolute hardest. Home where she is used to and comfortable? She’s a saint!

Guess what?!? We have a weekly or bi-weekly 1.5 hour Sunday evening slot opening up with our owner and main instructor Mrs Jessica (aka me, hi! 👋)

This slot can either be for a private lesson or for a family who wants a group lesson for 2-4 siblings and/or friends. We teach both English and Western while customizing all lessons to each individual students learning pace and style.

If anyone is in need of hay please do not hesitate to reach out! We are a “mini distribution location” of sorts for WNC Regional Livestock Center. We have horse quality square bales and goat/cow squares as well.

If you need a large load of hay it’s best to reach out to them personally but if you need a smaller load reach out to us! It’s easier on them to bring us a large load and let us distribute than it is for them to haul out a ton of small loads.

This hurricane hit a lot of people hard and we are extremely happy that we were blessed with the ability to be able to offer a little bit of help to our community!

***To clarify - this hay is FREE to those in our area that are in need of hay and cannot afford it or their suppliers hay got wiped out. If you are needing a large load of hay please reach out to WNC Regional Livestock Center in Canton directly. We are basically just a drop point for a large load to be dropped so local people who need smaller amounts can come pick it up from our property***

Please remember - our MANDATORY MEETING for parents/guardians that have kiddos interested in showing will be held at the farm this Saturday at 6pm.

This meeting will be to talk about show plans so everyone can voice their opinions, ask questions, and make final decisions for this year’s show plan.

Since the loss of our sweet Minnie Mouse, Ginger is now officially our oldest resident. She wants to inform everyone that she may be close to 30 but she plans on continuing to make almost 30 look good!

Side note - she also wants to inform all the other horses that is her grass and she refuses to share. Piggy pony! 🥴🐷

It’s that time of year again!!! Is everyone ready for a ton of fun in our show team!?

Our show team is open to all ages from the tiniest of tots to our adults - show lesson groups are based on age and show level. If you’d like to join yourself or sign your child up please reach out to us and we’ll send you our show team application!
