The boys are home from summer camp! Two of the very best camp ponies around and we’re so thankful to be able to lease them to a local camp during the summer. They love all of the extra attention they get when to go off to camp!

Please remember - our MANDATORY MEETING for parents/guardians that have kiddos interested in showing will be held at the farm this Saturday at 6pm.
This meeting will be to talk about show plans so everyone can voice their opinions, ask questions, and make final decisions for this year’s show plan.
We can’t wait to see what this years show team will bring!

Great information for everyone! Tis the season of heat AND humidity in our region. We you are hot just imagine how hot the horses are! 🥵
Parents please remember to send water with your kiddos to every lesson. Safety is always our first priority for both our horses and our students!

Since the loss of our sweet Minnie Mouse, Ginger is now officially our oldest resident. She wants to inform everyone that she may be close to 30 but she plans on continuing to make almost 30 look good!
Side note - she also wants to inform all the other horses that is her grass and she refuses to share. Piggy pony! 🥴🐷

It’s that time of year again!!! Is everyone ready for a ton of fun in our show team!?
Our show team is open to all ages from the tiniest of tots to our adults - show lesson groups are based on age and show level. If you’d like to join yourself or sign your child up please reach out to us and we’ll send you our show team application!

Yesterday the unexpected happened and we lost our tiny terror to colic. As a pony in her early 30’s we knew it would come eventually but with her being in such good health we were not expecting it this soon.
Her last 4 years here with us Minnie Mouse was an absolute saint. She helped so many kids get over their fear of horses and so may student started their riding career on her. Our program and lesson family is left with a gapping hole and we will all miss her dearly.
We want to give a huge thanks to our amazing vet Dr Vicki from Atlas Mobile Veterinary Services who spent hours doing her very best to help Minnie and worked her butt off trying everything in her power. Also to Palmetto Equine Veterinary Services who did their very best to save her but went above and beyond being professional and kind when it came to helping Minnie pass as peacefully as possible.

Our tiny terror is available for an on-site, POSSIBLE off-site lease if the perfect situation arises.

•UTD on all shots
•Sound barefoot
•Easy to catch
•Picks up all 4 feet & stands for the farrier
•Loads and hauls in literally anything
•W/T/C but has been out of canter work for approximately 6 months now
•Rides English and Western, primarily focused in Western but will go English and will easily jump 18in crossrails
Minnie Mouse has been an amazing part of our program but sadly almost all of our students have outgrown her. She needs exercise! Don’t tell her I said that, she’s gets offended about her weight😉. Minnie is a normal testy pony but no buck, bite, rear, kick, or anything of that sort. Drag kids to the gate occasionally? Definitely. Throw your child in the dirt? Heck no. She has been off on countless trail rides and acts like she’s half her age. She’s taught thousands of lessons and is a saint although does benefit from Daisy Reins or Anti-Grazing reins if her rider isnt strong enough to keep her from rooting on the bit. Minnie been to multiple local shows and is always a star, she really is a great pony!
On-site lease at this time can be a half lease or full lease. We have 1 full sized grass arena, 1 60ft grass round pen, and 1 small training round pen. We haul to trails the 2nd Thursday of each month and we do allow of leases to haul off-site and have a trailer available for day rentals AFTER being approved to haul. Leases are also welcome to show either solo or with our fall show team. Shoot us a message if you’d like to come out with your child and meet Minnie!

Since our ride Thursday had to be postponed due to the rain we finally made it out yesterday. Thank goodness the weather cooperated this time and gave us a beautiful ride!
Now trick question - Which horse do you think stood calmer during our picnic lunch? The spicy Arabian? Or the fat lazy Draft Cross?

It’s that time of year again! Time has changed and the days are warming up which means we will be opening our late summer lesson slots back up through September. Fun fact - a late slot means it’s not nearly as hot to ride😉.
We also have recently had a few Monday and Friday slots open up during school hours for our wonderful homeschooled kiddos and our amazing adults! Another fun fact - A large number of homeschool programs will allow horseback riding to be counted as a P.E credit. Shhhh, don’t tell them I told you🤫.

They are definitely enjoying the all the barn lessons with our wonderful students and all the extra pets that come with them though!
It may be freezing and we may be hiding in the heated barn all day but luckily we didn’t miss the beautiful sunset this evening!

Our first two and possibly only two camps (depending on what the fall show season looks like) for the year are scheduled! Come join us for a day, or two 😉 full of horses!
Our Day Camps are open to all children aged between 6-12 who wants to attend and is beginner friendly. This is an awesome way to expose your child to horses for the first time, or to allow your child who is already in lessons have a fun day with other kids!
Our Overnight camp is by invitation only due to not being beginner friendly. If you are not a current client but have a child you’d like to inquire about attending this camp please reach out to see if they have the riding skills needed to attend.

Are you ready for our rescheduled Christmas Party today??? We sure are!
The potluck is still scheduled from 2pm-5pm. We will be doing awards and gifts at 4:00 so all of our students in school will have time to make it.

This months trail ride! We had to flip to 2nd Wednesday instead of 2nd Thursday this month due to Thursday being our new date for our Christmas Party. We are excited though and cannot wait for this months trail ride!

Sadly due to us being extremely sick we will have to postpone our Christmas Party today. We are extremely sorry to have to postpone but we do not want to spread whatever we have caught with our wonderful students.
Our new date for the party is Thursday, 1-11-24. We hope yo see everyone there!

We will be having a small award ceremony for our awesome kiddos to celebrate their progress and hard work this past year. Please bring a dish or drink for the potluck and a present for the ponies off their wishlist below! (pony presents are optional)

So thankful for our phenomenal vet Atlas Mobile Veterinary Services who gave us their tea recipe to keep the horses hydrated through the cold weather so no one coliced! Although I’m pretty sure she did not think chubby here would bob for all the goodies on the bottom on the tub….. Nevada may be slightly broken but we still love her…… most of time😅
