Being a small business owner, I'm constantly learning more about what's the right and wrong thing to do.

I never want to put people in a position where they feel like they cannot afford for their animals to get the care they need while they are at work, vacation or even just unable to due to personal reasons.

I'd like to show my up to date (final) pricing. This is what my current rates are and will be until further notice. Once I know my new schedule, I will be posting it and contacting clients who are waiting to know!

An amazing last week of full time dog walking is coming to an end.

I am still waiting to hear on my schedule, once I know, please note that you and my clients will all know what that schedule is and if I'm still able to walk your dogs or whatever it may be. Your patience is appreciated.

One last thing, if I am able to, I'm updating my pricing. This will not be a ridiculous hike in pricing but a better system for my clients to understand.

My last week full time! Once I know more about my new schedule, I'm hoping to be able to still do some of my walks!

Good afternoon folks. I hope everyone is doing well, it was a long wild week. But I think we all got through it!
Thank you again to all my clients who understood my situation with my cat. I am hoping next week for my last full-time week everything will go back to normal.

I did want to make an update and say that I am getting a new puppy! I got it as a gift for my fiance who wanted a Golden Retriever all her life. He will be joining us Tuesday. Due to this I am no longer able to offer in house boarding, and that's just due to space. But I am happy to still come to your home and watch your dog or cats or whatever animal you may have right in the comfort of your home. Also, I will be updating with an official post with better explanations of prices, anything like that.

Have a great weekend everyone. I got to finish my week with a successful walk with my buddy Fate and letting out his brother Twist. Those two are wild!

My baby binx has made it out of surgery. His jaw on the bottom was completely broken. He is going to need some extra loving and watching after, so because of this - today I'm going to have my employee Cheyenne Sandau, whom I've previously introduced, complete some walks for me that she is familiar with. Other walks have been cancelled. I'm so upset this is how all week has been, but I want you all to understand that my animals are my family and I would do anything for them 💜 😺

Thanks to my clients today for their understanding. My cat, Binx, was hurt yesterday morning and has a fractured canine, and wounds around his mouth. He is not comfortable and is going to need surgery to have the entire tooth, root and everything removed. Today's the consult for that and due to it I was unable to walk my normal clients, my vet usually cannot get us in this quick and he is in pain and I cannot say no to getting him looked at to get the help he needs.

Good morning to my clients with me at Sniffin' n Strollin'
Since the beginning of this all, I've never wanted anything more than to be able to care for animals full time. I not only enjoy it but I love it. I'm happy with it and feel good at the end of each and everyday. I am sending this message regretfully, that I am stepping back from the business at this time. I will be offering weekend boarding and/or house sitting still. I am absolutely saddened that this is happening but unfortunately with the rise in prices for everything, especially household, I have to be able to help my wife with that. I've been offered a full time position back in the healthcare field that I just cannot turn down. I hope one day to be able to get back to this, and not have to worry financially. My last day of pet services will be November 11th. Please text back with any questions or concerns. I highly suggest Lindsay Sky with Lindsay's Pet Care Services for any needs you may have after my departure. I hope this reaches you with understanding.

I will keep this page open to update times that I may have available for walking too! Things change constantly with my life.

I'm thankful for you all for being so understanding, some times it's so hard to keep track of meet and greets, walks, boarding and my own personal life. But I am trying and doing my best! My beautiful cat Prim here, I've had her since she was 6 months old. She is 10 years old now, but she is still spry as ever...spry enough to jump on my keyboard while I'm attempting to work on school work, trying to make ads for this page, and causing it to crash my all in one desktop computer.
It's currently at a repair shop.
On the same week that I have finals.

These animals ... We love them though! Just be aware I may not get back as fast, or be able to do certain things like printing contracts (because my printer is down too!) And pet profiles...🤪

Happy Monday! Taking these goofballs to the dog park. When watching dogs, I take them to the part where there are no other dogs. I understand the stress dog parks can cause when you try to force any other pup play, Ozzy here isn't the biggest fan of sharing his space (tiny one!) So we aren't going to push any limits.

After these guys, I'll be off to see Summer and Aspen with some meets and greets tonight. Mondays aren't very busy for me, and honestly that is ok right now since I am on finals week!

Quick personal fact: I am one year away from finishing my Bachelor's of Art in Psychology with a Concentration in Mental Health, it's online but that sure doesn't make it any easier! I'm hoping to one day be a case manager for kids in the foster system, before I was adopted, I had some time in the foster system and I would love nothing more than to give back to those kiddos. It's not easy, but it doesn't have to be hard for them either 💜

A fun video from this afternoon with my doggy client, Shiloh! All walks I bring water, I also have a small bag for treats, plenty of poop bags & a first aid kit in the car. This is a good example of how my hour walks can be. It may seem like a lot of walking, but like Shiloh - we take many pit stops to smell the roses 🌹 🐶

My first walk is completed ✅ Nova & Logan were AMAZING! Nova (brown and white sweetie) was shy again meeting me but before I knew it, my face was covered in kisses. Logan is a big goofball that was giving me kisses as soon as I walked in. These guys got quite the 20 minute walk in! They were ready to relax as soon as I got them back to their home 💜 🐶 What an amazing time! I cannot wait to get more clients on and make some more pups days, these guys will see me again tomorrow :)

Today is my first day of walking a clients set of dogs! I'm very excited. But of course my own two pooches here Watermelon and Huckleberry need their walk or there might be some jealousy when I come home smelling like other dogs. The best part of a walk for the dog isn't the walk itself but the smells. Dogs actually use more energy to smell than they do walking! So these two I'm going to take to a park and they'll probably walk with me for about 30 minutes but they're going to be completely tired. Probably for a good chunk of the day because this walk is for them and not for me and I let them stop and sniff everything they want. Other than stuff they shouldn't be smelling and it helps so that they are getting the exercise they need for the day! This is something I will be letting your dogs do too because it is so good for them. If you're interested to read more about sniffing while walking, take a peek at this blog.
