What a great weekend. Had some check ins, and it was nice.

I do start my full-time job today. I'll be working 4 days a week, once I know what those days will be I'll be able to let people know if I can still help with walks.

Being a small business owner, I'm constantly learning more about what's the right and wrong thing to do.

I never want to put people in a position where they feel like they cannot afford for their animals to get the care they need while they are at work, vacation or even just unable to due to personal reasons.

I'd like to show my up to date (final) pricing. This is what my current rates are and will be until further notice. Once I know my new schedule, I will be posting it and contacting clients who are waiting to know!

An amazing last week of full time dog walking is coming to an end.

I am still waiting to hear on my schedule, once I know, please note that you and my clients will all know what that schedule is and if I'm still able to walk your dogs or whatever it may be. Your patience is appreciated.

One last thing, if I am able to, I'm updating my pricing. This will not be a ridiculous hike in pricing but a better system for my clients to understand.

Good afternoon folks. I hope everyone is doing well, it was a long wild week. But I think we all got through it!
Thank you again to all my clients who understood my situation with my cat. I am hoping next week for my last full-time week everything will go back to normal.

I did want to make an update and say that I am getting a new puppy! I got it as a gift for my fiance who wanted a Golden Retriever all her life. He will be joining us Tuesday. Due to this I am no longer able to offer in house boarding, and that's just due to space. But I am happy to still come to your home and watch your dog or cats or whatever animal you may have right in the comfort of your home. Also, I will be updating with an official post with better explanations of prices, anything like that.

My baby binx has made it out of surgery. His jaw on the bottom was completely broken. He is going to need some extra loving and watching after, so because of this - today I'm going to have my employee Cheyenne Sandau, whom I've previously introduced, complete some walks for me that she is familiar with. Other walks have been cancelled. I'm so upset this is how all week has been, but I want you all to understand that my animals are my family and I would do anything for them 💜 😺

Thanks to my clients today for their understanding. My cat, Binx, was hurt yesterday morning and has a fractured canine, and wounds around his mouth. He is not comfortable and is going to need surgery to have the entire tooth, root and everything removed. Today's the consult for that and due to it I was unable to walk my normal clients, my vet usually cannot get us in this quick and he is in pain and I cannot say no to getting him looked at to get the help he needs.

Good morning to my clients with me at Sniffin' n Strollin'
Since the beginning of this all, I've never wanted anything more than to be able to care for animals full time. I not only enjoy it but I love it. I'm happy with it and feel good at the end of each and everyday. I am sending this message regretfully, that I am stepping back from the business at this time. I will be offering weekend boarding and/or house sitting still. I am absolutely saddened that this is happening but unfortunately with the rise in prices for everything, especially household, I have to be able to help my wife with that. I've been offered a full time position back in the healthcare field that I just cannot turn down. I hope one day to be able to get back to this, and not have to worry financially. My last day of pet services will be November 11th. Please text back with any questions or concerns. I highly suggest Lindsay Sky with Lindsay's Pet Care Services for any needs you may have after my departure. I hope this reaches you with understanding.

I will keep this page open to update times that I may have available for walking too! Things change constantly with my life.

I want to make an apology for my clients - I've been very "off" this week and it's affected a few of my days! I'm thankful for you all for being so understanding, some times it's so hard to keep track of meet and greets, walks, boarding and my own personal life. But I am trying and doing my best! Well, I've had a lot of people ask and after getting settled into my day to day schedule..Starting October 28th, I will be offering...

🎉 Overnight inhouse PETCARE! 🎉

Availability for this will be Friday afternoons to Sunday afternoons, so weekends only - at the moment ;)!

What does this mean?
➡️ This means I can come to your house and stay the night while you are away, for the whole weekend to keep an eye on and love your pet while you are away.

What does this service include?
➡️ This will include me being at your home overnight with your pet, food and water changes, playtime - lots of playtime and making sure all chores in regards to the animal are completed.
If you have cats, this will include litter box cleaning.
Farm animals will include your normal chores that you show me during a meet and greet, like cleaning a paddock etc.

What's the cost?
➡️ The cost depends on the amount of animals. Here is a breakdown/example
1 dog, full weekend = $100
2 dogs, full weekend = $125
2 + dogs AND cats = $150
Dogs,Cats AND farm animals= $200
These costs are for the full weekend (Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon)

I do require a meet and greet for these visits before hand, and also to be upfront and honest that my fiance' may be with me some of the times during these over nights.

I bring my own food, blankets, basic hygeine stuff - all I ask for a place to sleep so I can be well rested to care for your animals all weekend! ❤️

Love my Thursday crew :) and the extras who I'm watching for the week.
Adama, is one of my older clients. When I got to her house to take her and Seamus out, her mom had let me know she was snuggled in bed and not having a good day with some leg issues and to skip on the walk for her. That was the plan , but once the door opened and Adama saw me, her mom decided it was clear Adama wanted her special short walk. A very sweet girl and I enjoyed having our walk, she loves to take her time to smell the flowers. Glad it was worth getting up for and powering through 🐶

Happy Wednesday to my clients and my followers!

Wednesdays are my busiest day, I know that it looks like I don't have a lot of clients, but because I offer timed walks of your choice that can range from 10 minutes to 20 minutes, 30 minutes and then to an hour and a wide range of towns throughout penobscot county, I have to include the time it takes me to get in between these places :)

I absolutely love what I do! On beautiful days like today. Sometimes it feels surreal that I get to do this full time, I don't think people realize just how happy it makes me to be around your animals and how cool it is to be one of the best parts of their day 💜

Good afternoon to all my clients,friends and supporters 🌞 🐕
Days off need to happen, Even with a job that is as great as this! So after some serious consideration, I've hired my friend Cheyenne Sandau to Sniffin' n Strollin'! She is going to be per diem as needed.
In the next few weeks, Cheyenne is going to be occupying me with my let outs and walks so that she can know my route. This is being done for my clients convenience so that I never let you down if I do have a sick day, or a day off planned ahead of time.

Chey, tell us about yourself and what you bring to Sniffin' n Strollin' : " I love animals, and have a particular soft spot for dogs, no matter the breed. I am personable and empathetic especially in regards to clients and their needs. I have an attention for detail when caring for dogs on a walk (i.e. spotting that tick on... Logan was it?) And will always ensure every need is met for each pup. I like to make sure and follow through with clients about the walks. I am also quite strong and can handle stubborn pups, without being aggressive or mean of course :3 i prefer positive reinforcement over punishing negative behavior if I can. did I mention I freaking love doggies?? If you could be any animal, what would it be? :
" If I could be any animal, I'd be an octopus. They're intelligent, resourceful, and one of the most creative creatures on the planet. They can change color and shape to disguise themselves. They're just groovy dude. I've seen one take two coconut shells and use it around itself to roll around the sea floor. They rock ❤️"

Kali, my best friend's dog, is staying over for the weekend! She is quite the girl but don't let her size scare you one bit, she is a gentle giant and is an absolute sweetheart with my two little guys.

Thursday is here folks.. week is coming to an end!
My arms are like jello between seeing a personal trainer (shout out to Coach Ruzzo of L.A Fitness) and my clients who take me for a walk hahaha!
Adama & Seamus are really cute but prefer to give me their butts for pictures! That's okay, they're cute all over ✨

⚠️ Quick update on my availability - I am getting full for M-TH and Friday I still have 2 slots available.
