We’re also so proud of Sage Hill Farm’s Recento who, at his first Junior Hunter Finals, was 5th in the Classic, 10th in the handy, and 9th overall in the Small 3’3” Junior Hunters!

A big thank you to .carolineolsen._ for beautifully guiding this young horse around his first (of many to come!) Junior Hunter Finals for lessee Noa Waisman!

HUGE congratulations to both Noa Waisman and Mia Press on their outstanding performances at their first Junior Hunter Finals!

⭐️ Noa rode Rainier to 18th overall in the Large 3’3 Junior Hunter 15 & Under Finals!

⭐️ Mia rode Sandman to a top 25 finish in the Small 3’3 Junior Hunter 15 & Under Finals!

We are so incredibly proud of both of these pairs and their hard work! Already looking forward to doing this again next year!

Proud of our horses and riders who beat the heat to have a very successful showing at the Fairfield County Hunt Club!

⭐️ Kate van Eck & Killian were Champion in the younger Children’s Hunter Division and 2nd in the combined Classic! Kate also collected top ribbons in the division with her other mount Snickers!

⭐️ Edith & Blue Me Away were Champion in the Large Children’s Hunter Pony Division and 5th in the Child Pony Classic!

⭐️ Helen & Crismas finished Champion in the Low Children’s Hunter Division with two blue ribbons over fences! This pair also had some fun in the 2’9 Hunter Derby out on the field and finished 6th!

⭐️ Mariel Goodson & Come True kept the tri-color streak going to finish Reserve Champion in the Adult Amateurs and 3rd in the combined Classic! Mariel also had beautiful rounds and top placings with her young horse Kardinaal who we’re so proud of for coming along so beautifully!

⭐️ Not pictured is Lila Hong & Karla who collected great ribbons in the younger Children’s Hunter Division and finished 8th in the 3’ Derby! Thank you to Amelia Burnside for filling in for Lila to finish the division with fantastic results!

Congratulations to our horses and riders on a great week at HITS Saugerties!

⭐️ Bella Waisman & Evanston started their partnership off right by finishing Champion in the Saugerties Children’s Hunters and had top placings in the Pre-Child Hunters!

⭐️ Penelope Wang & Summerland finished Champion in Short Stirrup!

⭐️ Lila Hong put in great rounds in the pouring rain to earn top ribbons with Charlie Brown in the very large Sm/Med Children’s Pony Division & with Karla in the younger Children’s Hunter division! Great job Lila!

⭐️ Kate van Eck also braved the rain with both Snickers & Killian in the Children’s Hunter division for a first and second place finish with the pair the first day!

⭐️ Helen & Crismas had great results in the Low Children’s Hunters that included winning a class and finishing 2nd in the Classic!

⭐️ Kaitlyn Linck & Recento had top placings in the 3’3” Small Junior Hunters! Thank you for the great rides this week KK!

⭐️ Mariel Goodson & Kardinaal were 3rd and 4th in the Middle Adult Hunters! Thank you Brianne Goutal Martineau for the fantastic ride in the 3’3” Performance Hunters, placing 8th in a big competitive group! So proud of this young horse.

⭐️ Edith & Zoe Reick and Windham Hill’s Blue Me Away finished Champion, Grand Children’s Champion, AND won the Classic in the combined Child Pony Hunter Division!

⭐️ Lila Hong & Charlie Brown collected top prizes and were 2nd in the Classic!

⭐️ Noa Waisman & Rainier finished Reserve Champion in the younger Children’s Hunters AND Noa was awarded Best Child Rider!

⭐️ Noa also finished 2nd in the Children’s Hunter Classic with Sage Hill Farm’s Recento!

⭐️ Kate van Eck & Killian collected great prizes in the hunters and were 6th in the Classic! Kate also finished 2nd with her partner, Emily Williams’ Snickers, with a score of 84.5!

Great riding at the Princeton horse show this past weekend!

⭐️ Kate van Eck & Killian finished Champion of the younger Children’s Hunter Division in Kate’s first time in the division! She was also Reserve Champion with her second partner Snickers!

⭐️ Mia Press & Sandman took home top prizes in their first time out in the 3’3” Junior Hunters!

⭐️ Noa Waisman & Rainier won top prizes in the Children’s Hunters and won the under saddle! Noa also took home great ribbons in the Children’s Hunter Division on her first outing in the division with Sage Hill Farm’s Recento!

⭐️ Charlotte Cantor & Ramone had success in the Low Children’s Hunter Division and Low Children’s Equitation Division!

⭐️ Helen & Crismas had an amazing weekend finishing Champion in the 2’6 Children’s Equitation Division, collecting top ribbons in the 2’6 Children’s Hunter Division including a win in the under saddle, AND finishing 2nd in their first 2’6 Hunter Derby together!

Catching up on our success here at WEC Ocala for Week 8 & 9!

⭐️ In WEC 8 Mia Press & Sandman won a Children’s Equitation class out of a large group and collected top ribbons in the younger Children’s Hunter Division!

⭐️ Mia & Sandman continued to shine in WEC 9 by finishing Champion of the Children’s Hunter Division by winning EVERY over fences class and finishing second in the hack and Classic!

⭐️ NEW partnership, Kate van Eck & Killian took home Champion of the very large Low Children’s Hunter Division their first time out! Thank you so much to Darby Toben, Emil Spadone, & Brian Feigus for Killian..he’s a true 🦄!

⭐️ Kate also had great results in the Low Children’s Division with her other Mount Snickers!

⭐️ Noa Waisman had a fantastic week on her own Rainier with top ribbons in the Children’s Hunter Division and a WIN in the Classic!

⭐️ Noa also had a great week on her other mount, Sage Hill Farm’s Recento, getting ribbons in the Low Children’s Hunter Division and finishing 4th in the Classic!

We are sadden to announce the passing of Redwood Forest. Forest has been a part of Sage Hill for many years and touched the lives of countless riders. He was a trainer’s and rider’s dream and always earned his graham cracker post-ride. He taught so many kids to ride and set them up to be wonderful riders. Forest was a truly exceptional pony and we will always remember and cherish all of the time we had with him.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of Forest’s life and special thanks to Dr. Erica Rosen for being there for Forest and loving him as much as we did. Thank you also to the Fairfield Equine Practice and Dr. Summer Lawerence for their efforts to help Forest and keep him comfortable. ❤️
