Adult Dogs Have More Teeth Than Humans Dogs. Dogs have 42 and Humans have 32!

The visible crown is typically only about one-third of the length of the full tooth; for incisors (front teeth), the crowns are actually only one-fourth the length of the entire tooth. They are also more firmly attached to the jawbone than human teeth and therefore harder to remove.

Check out the photos below, the arrow is pointing to the canine tooth, this is what you see. What most people don't know, is that this tooth has an extremely long root! Look at the tooth + root that was extracted during a dental, next to a quarter to scale!

Feed a species-appropriate diet to your pet and follow recommended guidelines on the amount they should eat daily.
Say no to table foods! Some human foods can be healthy for pets, but some can be very unhealthy or even toxic to pets.
