Check out this adorable video of Sally! ❤️🐾Nothing breaks our hearts more than when a pet who has known the warmth of a home is returned to the shelter. Sweet 2 year old Sally (formerly Cali) is back with us because her owner was moving and she and the other dog in the home were having the occasional squabble. Despite her affectionate nature and perfect size (just 40 lbs!), she hasn’t had a single inquiry since.Sally adores people—just look at this video of her showering our staffer Sam with hugs and kisses! She’s full of love, but she needs a home where she can be the only pet. We know that can make finding a family a little harder, but we also know her person is out there.Returned pets aren’t broken. They aren’t damaged. They just need another chance. Please don’t overlook Sally because she’s back at the shelter—she’s ready to be your loyal, loving Valentine. Could you be hers?

Kicking off the New Year with our girl who came to us in 2024.. MISSY! 🐾 Our sweet Missy has been overlooked for quite some time now. Maybe it’s because she is a typical hound and barks in her cage (she just wants your love & attention!) but when she’s outside in her element she’s THRIVING. Missy loves the agility pen, chasing her tennis balls, playing with her favorite volunteers, and letting her giant ears flop in the wind. She’s about 2 years old, gets along with other dogs and of course hoomans. Let’s give Missy the chance she deserves in 2025!🎉

Merry Christmas from Randy, our sweet brindle boy, full of love, joy, and energy!!
He ran to the Giving tree, wagging his tail, searching for his gift. 🎁 And while he found his toy, what Randy truly needs can't be wrapped or placed under a tree.
Randy has spent 5 long months with us. He was just a little pup when he arrived, and now he’s 9 months old and 55 pounds of pure sweetness and potential. He’s grown up here at the shelter, watching other dogs find their families, and while we’ve done everything to make this a loving place for him, he deserves more.
He deserves a family who will throw him the ball he loves to chase, a couch to snuggle on after a long day of play, and a lifetime of Christmas mornings filled with joy.Randy is still a puppy at heart, eager to learn and ready to thrive with the love and guidance of a forever home. He’s sweet, fun, and ready to be your adventure buddy.
