It's Wishlist Wednesday! In foster we currently have bottle babies from about 4-9 weeks old, and kittens and cats ranging in age from 3 months to 2+ years. Our biggest need continues to be kitten food. We are going thru crazy amounts of Fancy Feast cans as the kittens move to thicker stoups and solid food. We're still going through a good amount of formula as we use it to make the stoup and some of the babies are now drinking it. We could also use Fortiflora probiotic packets due to a recent outbreak of unhappy bellies. We are grateful for your support of K’s Kitten Rescue through shopping our wishlists (linked below), donating, fostering, sharing our posts and of course adopting, they all help us do what we do. We could not and can not do this without you. We appreciate you and thank you.
This is Felicity, one of three sisters that make up half of the Jellybean crew consisting of six nearly identical solid black kittens. The jellybeans grew up in a home where their human caretaker gave them plenty of love and treats and safety, and as a result they are very friendly and welcoming. The jellybeans could not stay where they were but they will easily adjust to a new home, as the transfer to their foster has gone without an issue. They are roughly 15 weeks old. Felicity is spayed and ready to go to a home. As the jellybeans have always been together, adopting a pair is highly recommended so they have each other as playmates.

It's TWOsday! Take not one but two looks at Will and Grace. This pair of beautiful tuxedo siblings came into the rescue as bottle babies at the end of May. These two babies have had lots of hands on contact and are very friendly and affectionate. They love to play and cuddle together. They are now about 14 weeks old, spayed/neutered and vaccinated and ready to go home. While these two siblings may be adopted individually, preference will be given to someone willing to adopt both together.
It's TWOsday! Take not one but two looks at Smokey and Bandit. This pair of siblings was found by one of K's fosters when they went outside and opened up their smoker. The pair is about Bandit is about 12 weeks old and will be ready to go home at the end of August. Smokey is a boy and Bandit is a girl. While the two can be adopted individually, preference will be given to those applying to adopt the pair and keep the two siblings together.
It's TWOsday! Please take not one but two looks at Cinnamon and Spice. This pair of siblings is almost one year old. They have been in foster for most of their lives. Cinnamon is still a bit shy but he is getting braver everyday in his foster home where there's kids, cats, and a bunny! He is starting to play with toys and the other cats. While her siblings Cinnamon and Sugar are progressing, Spice has remained very shy. She will accept cuddles and will snuggle up with you if you initiate, but won't seek out human attention. Cinnamon and Spice are both neutered and vaccinated. While these tabbies can be adopted individually, they would definitely do better if adopted together. We will reduce both of their adoption fees if you adopt Spice and Cinnamon together. If you're interested in adding some flavor to your family, please apply to adopt Spice and Cinnamon today.
Zola is a member of the cheese crew, 6 kittens that needed a safe place to land after being found on property where the dogs were not at all hospitable to kittens sharing their space. Zola is a tabby girl that's about 12 weeks old. Zola will be ready to go home in early September after visiting the vet for spay. Zola's sister Brie is also still available, should you be looking to adopt a pair of kittens.

Brie's sister Zola is also still available, should you be looking to adopt a pair of kittens.

K's is hopping with happiness to share that Zoe the bunny has been adopted!
K’s Kitten Rescue has some of the best adoptive families and supporters and followers out there. We mentioned the babies we are feeding and asked for help and you showed up! Thanks to all that sent miracle ni***es and syringes, kitten formula, kitten food, baby food and eye ointment. We're already down a container of formula and some of the baby food. We are so grateful for you, we could not help as many cats as we do without you! Special thanks to Shayna and crew, Diana N, Jen B and Sylwia, and to the folks whose gifts came without tags!
K’s is happy to share that Fiona has been adopted and is on her way home with her family!
It's Wishlist Wednesday! We have bottle babies from about 4-8 weeks old. They are growing so quickly, and eating everything even more quickly. We are going thru so much Fancy Feast pate, formula and baby food it's unbelievable. The majority of the kittens in our rescue eat Fancy Feast pate so it's always useful. The gang in this picture is the Bay Harbor bunch, also referred to as the Brick jailhouse crew because they were turned in to the police. This litter of six currently eats what Rachel Ray might call a stoup made from kitten food pate, Ge**er baby food and formula. They use Hardball litter. They love to cuddle with kicker toys (which they also snuggle with). They are starting to play and chase little toy balls around. We are grateful for your support of K’s Kitten Rescue through shopping our wishlists (linked below), donating, fostering and of course adopting, they all help us do what we do. Support is especially appreciated during kitten season when we have a lot of smaller babies. We could not and can not do this without you. We appreciate you and thank you.

7 month old Russell is dying to find his new home. He loves to snuggle and play. He's fully vetted and dying to meet his forever family
Mamma Mia is such a sweet girl! She loves to bop your hand seeking pets. She's got the cutest love heart on her nose too. Mia is about 2 years old and fully vetted. She just needs a family to love
Our senior declaw girl Freddie may possibly be the best companion cat ever. She sleeps with me and loves to prevent me from working by sitting on my chest and getting between me and my computer. She's super cuddly with a huge purr. Although she's declawed she's very dominant and has all the other cats in the house terrified of her! She's about 12 years old. She has chronic h*rpes for which she gets a shot every couple of months. She also was diagnosed with i.b.d but since she got to the rescue she seems not to have issues with that. She loves petsmart house brand food and kitten dry food. She's the easiest cat to love. I know senior cats are a steep ask but this cat will make you so happy for whatever time she has left. She's a gem
In a work meeting on zoom while getting a bath. Penny has been waiting a while to get noticed. She's an easy-going, sweet 4 year girl. She is fully vetted and waiting for the right family. Message us to apply.
Can anyone foster this 14 month old labradoodle for our rescue? She's had shots but isn't yet fixed. She's does great with other dogs and people but needs a lot of work on her manners. The owners bought her but they haven't even done basic command training. They work too many hours and haven't spent nearly enough time with her. Message us for a foster application
Barney is a six-month-old baby boy wondering where his forever home is. He wants you to know that he is a very happy house kitty who loves to share your food...yogurt, cottage cheese, or ice cream please! He's great with another cat and gets on with a dog just fine. He's quiet, initially shy/skittish, playful, sweet, and loves to sleep for long periods of time. Barney is a very clean boy who spends a lot of time grooming and is 100% litter box trained. With a patient family who will put in some effort into helping him adjust and trust in a new home, he will be a wonderful family member who will sleep on your bed and occasionally attack your feet under the covers. 🤣
Hard to believe but this is Def Leppard. You may remember seeing videos of him and his poor leg a few weeks ago. His leg was broken but had healed before he was rescued. Our vet said to be patient and see if he got some function back over time. And holy crow... look at this! He's probably never going to get full function in that leg, but the improvement in just a few weeks is astonishing. Looks like No amputation will be needed! So psyched!
We were asked for an update on Def Leopard . Many of you will remember him. He came in with a broken leg which unfortunately turned out to be an old injury that had already healed and thus was not something our vet could reset and splint or cast. Our vets suggestion was to wait and see how much functionality. He was able to regain and if the leg was problematic have it amputated when he's a bit older. Well, DL is actually doing great! He's running around and even wrestling with his foster mates. He's certainly never going to have full function on that leg but he's definitely getting use out of it. We will keep an eye on him, but we are cautiously optimistic that he's going to get to keep that leg. Let us know if you'd like to give this sweet boy a forever home.
Need a facial? Glitter will happily oblige. Feed her a few treats and she's a friend for life! Glitter is fully vetted and about 4-5 years old. She's a snuggler! Message us to apply.
Looking for his new family! Burgle was found trying to break INTO a house he chose but family couldn't take any more pets so called us. Burgle is a fun loving, affectionate character. Always entertaining, always looking for something new to play with, he is a guy with lots to entertain himself and you as well! He is fine with well behaved dogs with slow intro but a bit dominant with other cats that also want to be the boss, so cat selective. Loves people, loves carrying around his toys, absolutely adorable and so playful! Burgle is about 3 years old, completely vetted and microchipped. FIV/FELV negative and anxious to find a family to love. Contact us for more info.
As you can see Def Leppard is getting around pretty well despite his broken leg. His foster mom reports "He definitely can flex that paw ...the limb may be useless but the paw has some mobility" We will see if that improves in the next few weeks. For those joining us late.... This kitten HAS seen a vet. See earlier posts with his x-rays etc. Unfortunately its an old break that's already healed. It cannot be reset this long after the injury. Sadly we didn't get him in time for it to be fixable. Now it's just a case of wait and see if he gets any function back as he grows or if he will need an amputation when he's a bit older
Duncan was found as a stray in toms river. He's very friendly and enjoys being petted. He's still adjusting to the hustle and bustle of indoor life, but would probably be fine in a home with mellow kids or pets. He just doesn't like loud noises and fast movements. This fluffy young adult boy would make a great pet for almost any family. Message us to start the process of adding him to yours
Hey guys. Need your help! Nala needs a foster or adopter urgently. This super sweet and cuddly 6 year old girl Loves catnip toys and wand toys. She also loves belly rubs. But she does not love the other cat in her home. Oh boy does she not!!! We think she’ll do best as the only cat as she's very easily bullied by other cats. She is fixed, up to date on all shots and FeLV negative. Please help us find her a safe spot to live. It's no fun being bullied. Let's get her out!
Misty is still looking for the right family. She loves head bonks and pets, but she's not really a lap cat and is strongly opposed to being picked up. She's friendly to everyone she meets, including total strangers. She was even nose to nose with Milo the dog when he visted, even though she had never met him before. She's about 2 years old, fixed and vaccinated, but does need a rabies booster. We had a vet apt for her, but she wouldn't let us pick her up to put her in the carrier! We can work on that, though. Misty gets on great with other cats and is super well behaved regarding her litter box. Please consider adding her to your tribe.
Goldie went to her new home today. She seems pretty zen with it! Her new name is GG for Goldie girl. Nice job snagging a new family GG.

We are a cat and kitten rescue in Brick, NJ. While we operate as a non-profit, we don’t yet have our 501c3 status, but we are working on it and hope to have it soon. Our rescue works within the community to help finders trap and neuter momma cats and to socialize and rehome their babies. We also help families who must, for one reason or another, rehome their feline companions. We fully vet all our animals, and run vet and home checks on adopters. Our adoption fee is $125, which covers some of the costs of the vet services we provide. The remaining costs are covered by donations of money, food and litter from our supporters. Please consider donating to help support our work. https://www.paypal.me/kskittenrescue
