TLDR version. Today’s single situation demonstrates 2 things. #1. Some people really stink. (That’s the PG answer.) #2. We really need a couple more fosters. - FULL version. Someone dumped this beautiful baby in a dumpster at a fast food restaurant. The kitten is safe now but needs a safe place to land. Our rescue can take it in if we have a foster for it. If anyone is interested in fostering this kitten for us for a couple of weeks, please apply to foster (https://wkf.ms/3vTya1x) and message us.

STILL PRAYING FOR SOMEONE TO PLEASE HELP THESE BOYS. Pauly Walnuts and Junior have been in this rescue for most of their life. We do not understand how there hasn't been a single meet and greet for these boys, despite all of the positive comments and shared posts over the last two months. I feel so bad for these good boys, whose only faults are that they are shy and not little babies. Pauly Walnuts and Junior are 24 week old BONDED brothers that DESPERATELY NEED A HOME, the sooner the better. The boys have changed fosters 3 times now. Each change sets them back a little and makes them have to acclimate to a new place and new people all over again. They do acclimate and come out and accept pets but it takes a week or two for them to thaw enough to feel comfortable enough to do so. To be clear - the brothers are shy; they are not angry or hissy. In 2 weeks their current foster will go on vacation, necessitating yet another stressful change for the boys. They will then have to acclimate again. Now would be a really great time for them to be adopted, as they'd have less acclimating to do. THESE BOYS NEED AND DESERVE A FUREVER HOME. These handsome boys are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped so ready to go. Splitting these two up would cause them additional stress so we are only considering applications from people looking for two kittens. PLEASE apply for Pauly and Junior today! If you're already approved please let us know you'd like a meet and greet.

Tuesday is a light brown tabby girl that's almost 6 months old that was rescued from a city street after someone attempted to drown her. She is still skittish but she is making progress as her foster mom is working to teach her that she is safe and loved. Tuesday appears to have RBF (resting B-face) but plays with the other foster kittens and with toys and loves to sleep in the sun. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. Please apply to adopt Tuesday today! If interested and already approved please let us know you'd like a meet and greet.

Doug is a black male kitten that's about 6 months old. Doug's whole litter was very frightened when they came into rescue but have come a long, long way, a pleasant surprise to some of K's volunteers. Doug now seeks out attention. Doug's siblings Julia, Olivia and Tanner have all been adopted while he is still in foster waiting for his turn to come. Doug is neutered, vaccinated and chipped and ready to go home. If you're already approved please let us know you'd like a meet and greet.

PLEASE HELP! FOSTERS NEEDED IN OCEAN AND MONMOUTH COUNTIES! Babies are still being born now and the 2025 "kitten season" starts in under 2 months. We are short of fosters and need help! K's covers expenses and provides everything needed. Your willingness to share a small space in your home for a few weeks will make a literal lifetime of difference to the kittens/cat that you foster. It could even actually save a life. Fosters are needed now more than ever. Rescues are full now and come March it will be even worse. Please help us help them!

Today is ! We are grateful for our dedicated application reviewer Jeanine and would really like to help her out by dividing up the large pie that is the application review workload into a few smaller manageable pieces of pie. K's is in search of a few volunteers willing and able to help review adoption applications that have a few hours per week to spare. Link to apply to volunteer in the first comment. Please only inquire if you have the sincere desire to help and the ability and time to honor any commitment you make. Thank you.

It's Wishlist Wednesday! Broken record time. We're into the second half of January and there are still babies being born. Which means there are people asking us to help. It's nuts. And so here we are, in what seems to be a neverending kitten season, with official kitten season right around the corner. Here's what we wish for the most at present. FOSTERS. Without fosters we cannot help kittens. Short and simple story. People ask us to help kittens so we need to ask people to help us by fostering. We pay all expenses. GE**ER MEAT BABY FOOD for the bottle babies. SHEBA PERFECT PORTIONS PATE for babies transitioning to food. FANCY FEAST WET KITTEN FOOD for most of our kittens that are eating independently. The ones we use the most of are the kitten pate and any of the grilled varieties. FRISKIES WET FOOD is what most of our cats eat once they're around a year old. VOLUNTEERS to help with application reviews, event planning, fundraising, etc. EXPERIENCED VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS such as vets and vet techs to help us with simple medical needs. We appreciate and are grateful for your support of K’s Kitten Rescue through shopping our wishlists (linked below), donating, fostering, volunteering, sharing our posts, and of course adopting - they all help us do what we do. We could not and can not do this without you, and we appreciate you and thank you.

It's Wishlist Wednesday. One of the things we wish the most for is a furever home for Pauly Walnuts and Junior. It is honestly inconceivable that despite all of the sentiments shown to Pauly Walnuts and Junior over the last two months there has not been one single request for a meet and greet. I feel so bad for these good boys, whose only faults are that they are shy and not little babies. Pauly Walnuts and Junior are 24 week old BONDED brothers that DESPERATELY NEED A HOME, the sooner the better. K’s Kitten Rescue

We are a cat and kitten rescue in Brick, NJ. While we operate as a non-profit, we don’t yet have our 501c3 status, but we are working on it and hope to have it soon. Our rescue works within the community to help finders trap and neuter momma cats and to socialize and rehome their babies. We also help families who must, for one reason or another, rehome their feline companions. We fully vet all our animals, and run vet and home checks on adopters. Our adoption fee is $125, which covers some of the costs of the vet services we provide. The remaining costs are covered by donations of money, food and litter from our supporters. Please consider donating to help support our work. https://www.paypal.me/kskittenrescue
