UPDATE: Isn't a fan of Cats, since he was recently around an older cat and was in his face, didn’t like the cat around.

ADOPT LUCIANO!!

Luciano’s a 14mo 10lb Westipoo. He’s small dog and kid 10+ friendly. He was around an older cat and was in his face, didn’t like the cat around. He’s housetrained when kept on a schedule and will need continued work on crate training if used. He loves his fosters secure fenced in yard and would need work on leash walking. He loves toys and does not want to share them. He can be cuddly if he is in the mood. He’s spunky, has puppy energy and voices what he wants. He needs training on his puppy manners especially around things like food and toys that he gets possessive of. He is a known barker so a home where he may disturb the neighbors is not good. He will also need to be secured before opening doors where he can run out which he has done.

Luciano’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, a secure fenced in yard, if another dog they need to be small with similar energy along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Luciano as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.

For my once a week excursion away from the shelter on Saturday, I wanted to go to the beach and watch the clouds. Wishing my family would come for me… Angel 💔

Angel is a Labrador / Rotty mix, about 6 yrs old, lovable, handsome, smart. He loves meeting new people, riding in the car, walking on the beach, adventuring. Angel must be the only pet in the home, and he goes home with free training from Handsome Dan. Neutered, vaccinated, negative for heartworm, about 80 #, crate trained, housebroken, moderately active.
Angel has been waiting for a home of his own for over 15 months. That’s a really long time for a dog to be living in a shelter. 😞 Please help him find his family, we know there’s a home out there for him ~ share his posts. 🙏

Say hello to Gizmo! 🐾
At just 6 months old and 10 pounds, this Maltese Terrier mix may be small, but he’s got a huge personality. Gizmo is that perfect mix of goofy puppy energy and melt-your-heart sweetness — one minute he’s bouncing around with curiosity, and the next he’s curling up in your lap like he was made for it.

Life is one big adventure for Gizmo. He loves exploring, and learning the ropes of the big world around him.
