The Old Bridge Animal Shelter is in need of used towels and small throw size blankets. Please drop them off during public hours or leave them in the donation bin outside the gate.

We can not accept large blankets or comforters. Thank you!

I know we are being redundant with this post but we are in an IMMEDIATE NEED FOR A FOSTER for Beanie. She is doing so much better- eating/drinking and her stool is normal. She can be discharged now. We have no place for her to go. We are being charged an exorbitant amount of money for her to stay at VEG animal hospital. She is a very sweet girl but right now cannot be around other dogs as parvo is still contagious. We do not know how she is with cats. She is good around children of all ages. The doctors at VEG are in love with her and adore her as she has been such a pleasant patient. Please, if you can help apply today! If you cannot, please share this post.

FOUND DOG ****** CLIFTON NJ

THIS DOGGY WANTS HER HUMANS. She does NOT have a chip. Please help if you know anyone in or around Clifton, NJ who has lost their dog. A light colored mini van was on the corner of our property this afternoon around 4:15pm as I walked out to go to my car. I didn’t think anything of it, until I backed out of the driveway and saw a small dog unattended and unleashed on the sidewalk and no more mini van. A doctor at VEG in Clifton estimated that she could be around 8 years old. There was no collar or tag. She was, however, wearing an accessory that I am purposely withholding from the images and description for her safety. (If you can identify it in detail, I will know you are her human.) She is the sweetest dog and will not stop following me around the house, even at 1am we went for a lively walk outside and she will not stay in bed unless I am there with her. Very affectionate. Loving to all men and women once she warmed up to each of us. Dry food yes, wet food no. Loves to play. Loves to take walks outside. I know nothing about dogs and will likely surrender her to Clifton Animal Control if her owner does not come forward. She would go to Clifton Animal Shelter where she would be held as a stray before going up for adoption. She belongs with her Mama or Papa or family. If the owner or owners do not want her for some reason or if you happen know this doggy, please contact me to let me know and I will respect everyone’s privacy. At least let me know her name and I promise I will find her a good home.

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Alika is home safe & sound after 2 days, 4 hours :)

Please spread the word for this lost dog. Alika was LOST on June 28, 2025 in , NJ 08527 near New Jersey
