At the February 27, 2024 meeting of Bridgeport Borough Council, Dr. Ray Abdallah, along with Wendy McLahan of Bridgeport Veterinary Hospital and Lauren Brennan of Phoenix Rehab, as representatives of the Bridgeport Business Association, presented the inaugural Bridgeport "Good Citizen" Award. The first recipient of this award is Mr. John Puzio! Mr. Puzio is a lifelong resident of the borough, a school crossing guard, and a knowledgeable local historian.

The Bridgeport Good Citizen Award, which was an idea suggested by 10 year old resident and elementary student Andrew Heyl, is an award that was created in order to honor borough residents that exemplify community spirit and lend their time and efforts to serving the Bridgeport Community and preserving its character. PICK UP CONSENT FORMS NOW FOR SATURDAY'S BRIDGEPORT COVID VACCINE EVENT

While this is a walk-up clinic, there is still a consent form that must be completed. Beat the rush on Saturday, and come pick up your consent form at Borough Hall today! That way, you can arrive fully prepared for processing.

If you or someone you know is still in need of the Covid vaccine, please join us next Saturday, May 15 at Bridgeport Borough Hall as the borough hosts a walk up vaccination clinic, courtesy of East Norriton Pharmacy.

The clinic will be open from 11am to 3pm. Residents may walk right up to receive the vaccine, no need to pre register. Wheelchair friendly building; seniors welcomed and encouraged to come! We can also accommodate those with disabilities and perform the vaccine in your vehicle if necessary. Please bring photo identification and a copy of your insurance card with you. Those without insurance may receive the vaccine as well.
