Cat Neuters: $20
Additional days of pain medication are included at no additional cost.

To request an appointment please go to snipwv.org and click "Make an Appointment" in the menu. Under "Visit Type" please select Neuter to schedule a male cat, and Spay to schedule a female cat (this special is only for male cats). You will be able to choose an appointment time, but you will have the 7:30AM to 8:15AM window to drop your cat off! You MUST select 9/5/24 as the appointment date to participate in this special. If there are no appointments listed for those days, they have all been filled, appointments made on different dates are not eligible for the special.

This special is made possible by a grant, due to restrictions with this funding you must be a WV resident to participate in this pricing. Unfortunately we also are not able to apply this special to our volume clients on these dates (501c3's, shelters, voucher programs).

All I can say is my hats off to all that attempt to become a small business owner. This just about sums it up…..

The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid-back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work-life balance.

You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All while being a puppy parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend...

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed.

It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives.

Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!

And know that 2023 prices are not 2024 prices.

Now hiring for a Full Time Grooming & Daycare Receptionist Position

We are seeking an upbeat and positive individual that loves dogs and everything that comes with it to fill a permanent full-time receptionist position. Position is Monday - Friday with major holidays off. Flexible hours, 8-hour shifts, starting time as early as 6am and an 8-hour closing shift as late as 6pm.

Responsibilities
-Answering phone
-Schedule appointments for new and existing Grooming/Daycare Clients
-Welcome/Greet Clients
-Check in / Check out duties of Clients
-Conduct Consultation of Client
-Assist Groomers/Bather when needed
-Facilitate Client Flow
-Assisting in Cleaning Cages when necessary
-Lite Cleaning Duties and Laundry

Requirements
-Positive Work Attitude
-Presentable Appearance
-Strong communications skills
-High School Graduate or GED
-Learn Grooming/Daycare Software
-Must be able to display excellent telephone etiquette
-Must be able to communicate instructions between Client and Groomer
