Please share — K9 🐕‍🦺 found on Lewis Ave in Bridgeton. Has an outdated microchip and is at Wilwynn Animal Hospital (856) 451-0789. Must be able to provide microchip number, s*x and name of dog to be released. Microchipping is great BUT you need to routinely make sure your personal information (especially phone number) is current and up to date for a vet office to successfully reunite you with your lost pet!!! 😟💔

G has been training Zuko, a 150+lb Boerboel. Today was the first time our 7lb Chi daughter Gabriella met Zuko😳😳😳🐾. I have full confidence in my wife’s training!

“True Love”

Everyday since 1999, employees at the Atlantic City Electric Company would come to work and in the pond behind their building, they’d see 2 big white beautiful swans. They became family. Everyone fell in love with them. The pair were always together as swans mate for life.

Employees named them “Romeo” and “Juliet”. They were so graceful and beautiful. It was a nice break in their days to talk about Romeo and Juliet. It was their home and they were just so beautiful.

One day, a few months ago, Romeo was gone. No one knew what happened to him. Juliet wasn’t the same without him. She constantly looked for him and it was immediately apparent that she was devastated.

Everyone felt bad for her and didn’t know quite what to do. There was lots of talk about what might be best for her. She became more and more depressed. People were worried that she was alone during winter and what might happen to her.

For over 21 years, Juliet had a mate. Now, she had no one and she just wasn’t the same. To add to her devastation, a very large family of geese moved into her pond and she felt unwelcome so she moved around to the front of the building and lived where there was no pond, where she was all alone, not even able to take a bath.

Juliet’s family at the Atlantic City Electric were the most caring family ever. After much discussion, it was determined that Juliet was going to die of a broken heart and something must be done. She was rapidly deteriorating. She went from the happiest swan around to the saddest.

Someone mentioned this incredible place where animals like Juliet could go and live. A place where animals that once had little or no hope, could live incredible lives. It was called the Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary, just under 2 hours away.

The call was made to Laurie Zaleski, the owner of the Funny Farm. Once she learned about Juliet’s story, she quickly agreed to give her some new hope. Laurie said to bring her to the Funny Farm ASAP. Juliet was brought to the Funny Farm where her life was changed forever!

Immediately, Juliet met a big beautiful swan. He noticed her and she noticed him. It was love at first sight. Two swans that both lost their mates, instantly fell in love at the Funny Farm. They haven’t left each other’s side ever since not for even a minute.

Juliet’s sparkle in her eye is brighter today than ever! There is new hope, new happiness and new magic! Her new mate didn’t have a name, which is rare at the Funny Farm, so it was decided he would be called her new “Romeo!”

There is so much happiness at the Funny Farm and today, there was new love, true love. Out of sadness, both have found love in each other. Somehow, they both knew what the other has been through even though no words were spoken.

Sometimes, life is just as it was meant to be because people went out of their way to care. Atlantic City Electric isn’t just a company of employees. It’s a company of good people who go the extra mile to save a swan. That says more about these people than a sea of positive customer surveys that most companies have these days. After Juliet was delivered, the employees left and went to the store and brought back an incredible amount of donations with their own money!

Romeo and Juliet live on. They have a bright future and a new road to begin traveling together. They will never be alone again! Look real close, you just may see the new heart they form together!

Today is a great day at the Funny Farm and it seems that all 550 animals are all cheering because of Juliet’s arrival, which to them, seems like she came directly from Heaven...
..and who knows, maybe she really did!
