Hey guys!! I know a few of you are interested in coming sunday to help bathe. For those who missed the post, at 10:30 ish Sunday morning this week we’re going to have a horse bathing day! I’m picking up some overtime at work Saturday so I’ll be free to teach later in the afternoon/evening if anyone would like a lesson then. I also have availability tomorrow night, Thursday night, and Friday night after about 4:30! 🙂

Reminding everyone that i have fall camp coming up!! Please be sure to reserve your spot- I have limited spots available! Kids will become more comfortable around the horses and learn how to brush, tack up, take care of their tack, and also focus on ground work. This includes going out to catch your horse in the field, walking/trotting next to them, and lunging! We will be painting/ bathing at least one of the horses and we will also take a hay ride to a pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins so we can paint them! From 9-2 both days with a half hour to 45 min reserved for lunch 🙂

Fun weekend on the farm❤️ Chloe and Avery had great lessons on ila and dude, and all the horses got some apples and were very thankful🥰 Grimm also was thinking about jumping on ila from the saddle rack while he was getting tacked up😂

Hey hey!

Since it’s going to be getting colder before we know it and all of my horses are disgusting because of the humidity and rain, would any of my girls be interested in coming over one day to have a horse bathing day? Either a Saturday or Sunday, I’m thinking either next weekend or the following! I have camp coming up the beginning of October and we’ll be bathing one or two of the horses then, so we’d probably do 3 of them! Most likely jager, dude, and Ila. We’ll probably paint the ponies for camp 😂

This week has been extremely busy around the property! I attempted to mow the one field to prepare to have some boarders eventually. I ended up mowing about 1/3 of it until i got attacked by grasshoppers and hornets 😅 (didn’t get stung, just drove off screaming)😂 my new tractor will be here today when i get home from work so I’ll be adding more dirt in front of the stalls so it doesn’t get as muddy and I’m moving my manure pile to the back! I also opened up the front of the barn to store the tractor in there! I’m hosting the tack sale Saturday, lessons could potentially take place Saturday evening or Sunday during the day! The next couple days I’m going to be playing with the tractor and getting some stuff ready for Saturday!

Hello everyone! I’m sorry it’s been a while since I’ve updated- this week I have availability tomorrow and Wednesday evening for lessons! I’m hosting a tack sale Saturday and need Thursday and Friday to prepare. There’s a chance i may reschedule the tack sale to Sunday due to the potential rain on Saturday, but if the tack sale is definitely Saturday, then I’ll be available any time Sunday! I am back to 5 days a week at work so i will no longer be free Friday mornings!

Took the weekend to get the barn more organized and got a lot done around the property! Feels good to be back at it. I knocked down a ton of cob webs and moved around a lot of stuff😂 next weekend I’m going to be doing a lot more but this looks 100x better than it did before. Dude and Ila are now together, and peppermint and Rebel are in the same pen. Everyone was getting along, but feeding goes a lot better with it like this! I also hung up a bunch of solar lights on the fence posts by the gates- i feed at about 4 am so i can now see and i don’t have to angle my car into the pastures 😂 also once it gets darker, we will be able to see where we’re going for evening lessons lol.

Here are some pics of the last two days on the farm!! All the girls had great lessons and did wonderful for their first time riding since the end of June! It was so nice to see everyone again after being off for so long. The horsies are also happy to have jobs again!

Also shout out to Addy and her new horse, Axel! They had their first ride together and they both did awesome!

I haven’t been doing much around the farm since my injury but I have been wanting to get the pile of wood out of there for so long and finally did one handed😂 it definitley opened it up more and made so much more room! And i can hang up all of my rakes and not have to climb over wood to get them😂

Here are some pics of the horsies that my grandfather sent me! I will be back home Sunday morning and will need a few days to get some stuff done but I’m hoping to start lessons back up around Wednesday or Thursday! I’m not sure how the weather has been, but hopefully it’s started to cool down a little and it won’t be as humid☺️

Tonight on the farm!! I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get anyone in for lessons this week- this weather has been AWFUL! Here are some pics of the horses for everyone to enjoy 🙂

I’m leaving for Bermuda on Sunday and returning next Sunday. I’m hoping the weather decides to cool down in that time and we can start lessons back up around the 21! I’m going to need a few days to get back and get unpacked and get some stuff done around the house after i get back, I’ve never been on a legit vacation like this so but I’ve been told I’ll need a day or two to recover 😂

Saw a small friend earlier while i was moving old feed pans around 🙃 I usually don’t like spiders, but I’ve never seen one up close and I did torment her to take a few pics before her and her eggs’ ultimate fate😅😂

My pins are finally out!! Thank you all for the good healing vibes, he said that my bone is healing amazing for the trauma that i had! I still have to wear my splint, but there is nothing sticking out of my bones anymore so there is no risk of me seriously injuring myself! With that being said, i will be in contact with everyone to schedule some lessons for the next week!

I am also going on vacation from the 11-18 so I won’t be around that week. I’d like to get everyone back for at least one lesson before i end up leaving!

I have a new addition to my four legged family; welcome Peppermint!

I haven’t updated on here for a little bit, but I went back to work this week and i am TIRED. Lol. My hand is doing okay. I have another follow up on the 31 so definitley send good vibes so my pinky can heal fast😂

I am thinking of starting up my more intermediate lessons. I’m not in as much pain as i was after being outside which is good. I would love to start all lessons back up, but my pins are exposed in my hand and i cannot really assist the girls while they tack up at all ☹️ I’m hoping for good news Wednesday after X-rays and follow up, hopefully I can get these bad boys out and go back to life with two functioning hands 😂

Everyone is still more than welcome to swing by and see the horses and help brush them!! Just let me know when you’d like to come by 😊😊

Sooo I have good news and bad news!

I had my follow up today and my finger is healing good BUT the type of splint i have does expose my pins and now i have to be even more careful 😅🫠 with the humidity as well this summer I think it’s best to push off lessons until August then see where we’re at. I’m already thinking of a way to rig something up to protect them so I don’t knock into them. I will be going back to work starting next week on light duty which will be enough of an adjustment. I feel really bad, but everyone is still more than welcome to set up a day to come see the horses and even brush them if they’d like to 🙂

Good morning and happy Monday!

I have a follow up appointment this Wednesday and I’m hoping it goes well. I’m definitely still going to have something still on my hand for a bit, but i should get more insight on what’s going to happen. I’m hoping to start up some lessons in the next week or so and also go back to work for next week. If you know me, you know I’m going crazy being inside😂 it has been insanely hot out so it’s not the worst thing not teaching currently, but I still want all the kids to be able to ride soon!!

Had a lot of fun today💕 the girls did wonderful grooming Rebel and learning how to tack up western and English. He got hosed down, we played jeopardy, then we did a mini ground work session but it was HOT. We ended up doing another craft to stay cooler!

Fun first day of camp!! We started by learning parts of our western and English saddles and parts of the bridle then learned how to clean them. We then made a cool western craft, then painted and bathed a very dirty Ila after lunch!❤️ can’t wait for tomorrow!!

Good afternoon!

For those attending camp this weekend, it is rain or shine! I have enough inside activities planned for the day if need be. We will meet up by the house and we’ll put lunches in the fridge. All the girls can grab their drinks or take out gatorades and waters from my outdoor fridge and we’ll put them in a cooler to have up at the barn. We will not be riding, but boots are still mandatory being around the horses! A hat is also a good option since we will be outside a bit, but not necessary ☺️ I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

Hey hey!

I’m still alive and I have all 10 fingers still lol. Lessons will be canceled until further notice. I wish I could give an exact timeline but I’m thinking for the next 2-3 weeks I’m going to have to just relax and get better. I am out of work for upwards of three months.

With that being said if anyone just wants to come see the horses or the kittens you’re more than welcome to visit. just please reach out first ☺️

I will see some of you at camp next weekend- i am ok to do the camp activities that I have planned.

Hey everyone!

So i reached out to a few but lessons this weekend are CANCELED. I am ok I have to get a minor surgery Friday morning due to an injury today.

Recovery shouldn’t be anything crazy- i may be limited on what i can do but I’ll have to update on Sunday to see how I’m feeling. Feel free to reach out if you’d like but I am in the er currently so I’ll respond when i can.
