Paisley finally seems done and is relaxing with her babies in between my hand feeds. 8 babies total, 5 survive so far. They seem strong but oh so tiny!

There is a tough side to breeding that we don't always talk about. Tonight was one of those nights. Paisley was due with her very first litter a week from today. I came home to find her in pre-term labor in my bed. She had 5 babies, 1 never took it's first breath (edit: ended up being 8 total with 3 stillborn). The other 4 are tiny and possibly too little to make it. I'm feeding them and keeping them warm and sending all my positive vibes their way. 💔😭💔 Please keep these sweet babies in your thoughts and prayers..

Today is a big deal! Today is the day my very first litter was born 3 years ago! It was the day I officially became a breeder! There have been ups and downs, and friends made along the way. I am thankful for each experience and each new family I've gotten to bring happiness to with one of my babies! Happy 3rd birthday to Stella, Zara, Nissa and Fat Louie!
