They are among the most popular dogs in America today, and pit bulls were even more popular in the early 1900s when they were the closest thing the United States had to a national dog. They were featured on U.S. recruiting posters in World Wars I and II, prominently featured as corporate mascots and cast as the ideal family dog in television and movies.

Pascal is looking to be your co-pilot!

Looking for a calm older pup who would just be happy riding by your side? Look no further than Pascal! Pascal is a very handsome male terrier/pittie mix estimated to be around 7 years old and weighing in at 70 pounds. He was picked up as a stray and brought to a local animal control facility, where he ended up on the "urgent list" through no fault of his own. He quickly became one of the staff favorites. Those who know Pascal say he is a very sweet, obedient, friendly boy, who likes all people. He is NOT a fan of cats. He is well-behaved, has a moderate energy level and knows the sit command. This sweet pup was found in the crossroads complex in Bridgewater. Person who found the dog stated he found four days ago and was going to keep the dog but was too much for him. This dog will be on a stray hold for 7 days but if anyone recognizes this dog, please call the shelter at 9087250308. Brought in wearing a green collar
