A dreadful local story with hopefully an end that brings justice.

Last year, we had our dog Daisy in the care of this couple for a very brief time - one hour. It was potentially going to be several days. But soon after we left Daisy with Mr. Cooke and Ms. Hartman for a trial visit, a growing sense of unease told us to run back and get her.

Please be so careful regarding whom you allow to care for your beloved dogs. Trust your instincts.

You can help a dog, large or small, learn to walk on a loose leash and, if appropriate, without a harness. But if you need some extra assistance, we can help - just let us know if you’d like to learn some strategies, and how to make them part of your dog’s walking routine.

With consistent training, Daisy, our own young Black Mouth Cur, is doing a beautiful job. And harness-free is a refreshing way to be as the weather starts to warm!
