Baxter is our handsome little mini plush lop from Lusters Lops in MA. He enjoyed his walk today with the kids!
Nothing like a bunch of babies excited to tell me about their fun playtime while I wasn’t around. Good morning!
Big spotlight today on great mama Bonnie! We had a beautiful litter from Xena, a first time mom giant plush lop, but over the past few days I have noticed the babies aren’t growing like they should be, it seems like Xena isn’t producing enough milk for them. Bonnie just weaned a litter, but she is still producing milk and happily fed the poor, hungry babies.
Update video of Stella’s French Lop litter, they are getting big already!
Playing with baby mini lops on a nice day.
Thanks so much to Storybook Bunnies for the mother of this litter, Stella. I love tort, but in the big rabbits it is especially cute!
The only ones who enjoy the mud and puddles from the melting snow!
Look how beautiful Alanna is! She is 11 lbs of pure plush softness and is 👀 .
Lili and I spent some time today playing with the two to three week old babies.
Maribel is working at building a nice nest, good thing she has that giant dewlap to pull soft fur from!🤣
In the winter when it is cold and snowy I often have an audience of deer while I am cleaning the barn, impatiently waiting for me to finish so they can paw through the compost pile for extra hay and grain that gets thrown out.
Whenever I am in the barn there are always bunnies having playtime. The brown tort and the tri color bucks are still available!
My amazing media director (aka my 11 year old daughter) did all the photography and editing for a video of our current litters.
Alana and Wanda the plush lop does had some playtime today and Alana said hi to Stella the French Lop from Storybook Bunnies. I thought it was interesting to see the difference in the way they look.
Adorable baby alert! This 3 week old has a pure French Lop father and giant plush lop mother, so she will not have the plush fur but she will carry it for the next generation to bring some new bloodlines into the breed!
Who wants to see an adorable 9 day old plush lop litter with a mystery color baby?
