Pigs 👀🏡! I will be attending Cavy Congress in Laingsburg on the 27th to bring them!

Teddies:
- Jr Chocolate/Red/White Boar- currently grizzled, does appear to have a red brindled patch on his shoulders, and is very close to having just enough red to show. Pedigree available.
- Sr DA/Red/White Sow- Proven, a decent momma- does best with another sow in to help her. Can get a better picture for you if interested.

Americans:
- PET Sr White Sow- was super excited about her growing up, but unfortunately developed pea eye.
- PET Sr Cream Boar- same as his sister above. Developed pea eye.

Just as I thought we were on the upswing, we lost her. RIP baby Birdie🕊️ Birdie was the runt of the litter and was not gaining any weight. Tuesday after work she was very lethargic and out on her own in the cage without her momma and siblings. I began force feeding her every 2 hours through the night. I felt like we made a lot of progress by the end of the day yesterday with a little more energy, some bowel movements, some talking again, stable weight (still no gain), but I lost her overnight. 😕The worst part about this hobby..

Mama Shuri has our biggest litter so far last night with 4!🥹Mama Shuri and her helper Penelope took great care of everyone as we had no losses and mama is doing great!

I am awful at sexing this early, but I think we may have either 2 girls and 2 boys or 3 girls and 1 boy!

They are all heavily marked! I think a couple may not have enough of each color to show, but could be a good brood!

Fun show at Fowlerville today! The 2 things to write home about are Maddie Pratt’s Sr PEW Sow Peaches N Cream won BOV and Best Senior of Breed in show A today! 😍Such a pretty gal! And while Patch-Rick did not win anything today, he was very very close to beating his competitor- another nice TSW intermediate boar by Jess at Celtic Caviary! Thats a win in my book!😉 Can’t wait to see both of our boys grow up more!

Congrats to Jess on all of her wins today with her beautiful (as always) pigs! 👏🏼🥳💗

We said an unfortunate goodbye to one of our lifers- Chungus AKA KMR’s Expedition tonight!😢I’ve never met a pig with more personality and more vocal cords than Chungy! He knew how how to get his way by screaming until more food/snacks/water showed up! He will be deeply missed over here!💗🥹

Tonights feast includes everything but the kitchen sink as I clean out the fridge! The remaining bunch of celery, the remaining container of blueberries, an entire bag of carrots 😅, and some chunks of apple! There’s a whole lot of munching going on in here!

Momma Gladys had her final litter today with another singleton! Unfortunately the little girl is a little special needs with a clubbed front leg. These ladies will be looking for a PET home within the upcoming weeks. Please message me if interested in taking on this sweet mother/daughter duo!💗

Trying to coordinate 5 little ones is harder than it looks!😅This was the stillest I got them! 🥹The size difference in just a week vs 24 hours is crazy! I wish they’d stay palm sized longer!🫶🏻

I KNOW momma couldn’t wait to pop these 3 out! Holy cow are they rambunctious!😂But so dang cute!! Hard to tell, but I am fairly confident we have 2 pink eyed sows, and 1 dark eyes cream boar on our hands! We will see how they develop, but I think one of the whites will be 👀for a new 🏡 in a few weeks!

Came home from dinner out to a new baby! Mama Shuri had her litter a little earlier than anticipated. Unfortunately we lost one- a large one at that. Still in the sac when we found them😕Momma does not seem to be very motherly, so I’m keeping a close eye on them both!

Fun day at MSU today!
Latte, Laurie Norman’s Sr Cream Sow, took home best senior and BOV at both show A and B.
Butterball, Savage Hill’s Sr Cream Boar took home BOSV at show A under judge Andrew Miles.

Looking forward to doing some matchmaking now for a new crowd of show pigs come spring time!

Great Lakes Rabbit and Cavy Show Results! We only stayed for show A, and although a small turnout (17 Guinea pigs overall for open show) it was a great first show bringing home a win!! 🥳Learned a lot about who I brought to know where to improve with each breed!

Cream and White explosion!! Notice how well behaved the first half is-they’re all the girls of course!! Morgan and I drove down to Louisville for the ARBA Convention to check it out for next year and pick up some pigs! 20 of them to be exact😳Only 4 teddies! Don’t worry Mom and Dallas, only 3 of them are mine! 🤪Pics to come later.
